Duff's for quantity over quality.
Any experiences with river cane?
Posted by Unobtanium on 5/2/25 at 9:49 pm
We grew up calling this "cane reed", but I finally got around to finding its formal name (river cane bamboo, Arundinaria gigantea). It's fairly common in south La, with stands of it growing in SE Baton Rouge.

I have been assured by the cultural trendsetters of our time that punctuality is an obvious form of racism.
Therefore, the stylist whose income depends on clients being on time is clearly a racist.

I have Deere 3032e, 8 years old but less than 500 hours. Other than a dead battery not a lick of trouble.

massive power transformers do not have switches internally.
You are correct, but any transformer this size will have an overpressure trip, a Bucholz relay, etc. that connects to the switchgear. Infiltrate one of these devices and the protective controls and breakers do the rest.
I would not put this past our red friends.

Has anyone suggested that your file a claim with your insurance co., and let them go after the other party?
I was in a similar situation years ago, and after wasting time trying to file a claim with Champion Insurance (crooked as shite) I filed a claim and it was settled within a week.

Should Our Resident Law Professors Be Concerned?

Grok is learning quickly.
Edited to reference (tongue in cheek or course) a specific blogger/law professor, and remove any disparaging aspersions against strip mall lawyers, ambulance chasers and attorneys who lean to the Saul Goodman end of the ethical spectrum,
My apologies, please don't sue.

Brit Floyd Coming to Shreveport - Worth the Drive?
Posted by Unobtanium on 4/2/25 at 9:26 pm
Of all places in La., they're coming to Shreveport (August 6th).
If I'm driving 4 hours (from BR), are they worth the ticket price and the drive?
I'll never see Pink Floyd or David Gilmour, so this is my best shot at seeing this music performed live.
