Wooden Boat Festival in the fall. Madisonville.
Others have mentioned, I’ve had Abba movers help me twice.

For the question you asked, the U-Haul.com website can connect you with people to help you load or unload. Often firemen, students or handymen types. I’ve used that service too.

The superbowl focus and cleanup has probably kept the New Orleans numbers down some. Lots of extra police in the area.
Most of the 5g wireless equipment is mostly Chinese equipment too.

re: Have you ever almost died?

Yep…. Rafting the Upper Gauley river. Got sucked under the water at Pillow Rock rapids. Wasn’t under long, but went under when boat flipped and was t expecting it so went under as I need to take a breath. Luckily I popped up down river.

37 year old woman from Tennessee died in same spot the next day. She was pinned under a rock outcrop by her life jacket about 20 feet down.
Listen to his entire comment and nothing inflammatory at all.
Yes, they did some work on a tower just south of the bridge. Now my CarPlay disconnects, stereo turns off and I sometimes drop calls on river road, and Nicholson areas near the bridge.

Issues on river road last almost to warehouse on river road.

CarPlay also drops out and disconnects crossing the MIss River bridge too.

Without snow tires, it’s pretty difficult. More a technology issue than capabilities down here.

I took a day off of the show and rode my bike around downtown Milwaukee. Hit a bunch of breweries and had more cheese curds than I should’ve.

Thanks for the insight. We plan to spend a few days in Milwaukee

Will look at attending the airshow later in the week based on your feedback.
That’s was my worry. Lots of small roads heading in and out.
Has anyone ever attended the EAA Airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin? Good experience if so? Looking to travel north this summer to cooler temperatures and this event caught my eye.

With around 10,000 planes flying in to a smaller airport that week and many more driving in, wondering if it’s too crowded to be enjoyable. Looking at going this year and every hotel anywhere close is already booked up. The ones left are a town or two away, are lower tier places at $550+ a night.

Looks like most of the advanced military aircraft are there as well as Experimental aircraft.

In 1971, the EAA airshow at Oshkosh brought in 600 planes and 31,653 movements. Today AirVenture brings in more than 10,000 airplanes. Special air traffic procedures are used to ensure safe, coordinated operations.

Any firsthand experiences are appreciated.
I’ve used spot tracker. Works very well for tracking or for someone to request help to up to 10 personal contacts.

Can also -alert world GEO location help system.

Can also send short message to say “OK” as well.
Just quote Kamala, “We are going to follow the law. We are going to follow the law.”
They are only stating the obvious.

We probably need to ramp up legal immigration numbers by 4-5 times to offset the deportations. We need more population due to low birth rates, but we should be selective through legal immigration.

Exactly what you expect from him.

Van has joined CNN panel.

Interested in his comments.
Update: she was arrested and Iran claims she had mental breakdown. Some say it was a protest.

Human rights activists have called on authorities in Iran to release a woman who was detained after removing her clothes at a university, in what they said was a protest against the compulsory hijab laws. A video surfaced on social media on Saturday showing the woman in her underwear sitting on some steps and then walking calmly along a pavement at the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University in Tehran. In a second video, the woman appears to remove her underwear. Shortly afterwards, plainclothes agents are seen forcibly detaining her and pushing her into a car. Azad University said the woman suffered from a “mental disorder” and had been taken to a “psychiatric hospital”.
