I have not used but understand that the owner or original owner has moved away from BTR.
Think he's in South Carolina now, but I saw him over the holidays in BR. I used to use them at my old house and they did a good job. It was definitely worth the $100 I paid them to aerate my lawn. I probably couldn't rent the machine for that.

Had Two Brothers in BR remove the old driveway that had been busted up by tree roots and pour a new one back in November. We were happy with the job they did.
Keep us updated. My girlfriend's koi keep disappearing, but we can't figure out the culprit. There were 14 prior to Thanksgiving. There are 4 left. Was thinking either bird or raccoons. Noticed some potted plants tipped over a couple mornings, which makes me suspect raccoon.
City Park is the answer. This is where I brought my daughters when they wanted to learn. 9 holes. Not a long course. Fun to drive the cart up and down the hills.

It's really sad how bad Louisiana is when it comes to public golf. I can't think of a worse state in the southeast for public golf. I mean, MAYBE Arkansas but thats the only one that comes close.
Thanks for your input. You really helped the OP with that. Congrats!

Went for the comedy show on NYE. I don't know how many tickets were sold, but there were only a couple dozen people there, so not too crowded and not much of a line for drinks. Cool atmosphere and we had a blast. But I understand we went for a ticketed event, so it was probably different than on other nights.

Played Copper Mill Saturday-greens were great and rolled faster than the last time I played.
Second this comment after playing today. Greens were rolling the fastest I've seen since they reopened.
Based on my swing speed of around 100-105mph, I should have no business playing the Ventus Black 6X tipped an inch. Yet, I have never driven the ball better than I have using that shaft. Dispersion is fantastic, and I've hitting the ball farther than I ever have.
Got a Blue 6X in the + model in my mini driver that is my "safe" driver. It's spinnier, but some of that is also due to the loft.
Red 7X in the TR model in my 7 wood and I love that club.
I have zero idea what other shafts are available and really don't pay attention any more.

Was gonna mention using the Red Lobster biscuit mix, but you bean me to it.

I’ve been a club Cameron member for a few years. It’s easy to get addicted to buying the expensive stuff that drops. After awhile you just have tons of it and never use it and you realize what a ripoff it all is. The Peter Millar clothes are awesome though. Still buy that’s stuff.
Same. I still use a few of the things like a duffel bag and soft cooler. The hats and t-shirts are nice, but the PM shirts and pullovers are where it's at. They cost no more than regular PM stuff.
I've got 9 different Scotty putters and most of them could legally buy a drink. I love the older ones that have been refinished and I game all of them. Got 5 of them hanging in a display rack on my wall, but I still use them and swap out from the backup bag and the gamer bag.
To me, a putter that looks good behind the ball and feels right in my hands is way more important than whatever science and MOI and all that ridiculousness. But to each his own.

Big fan of Brussels sprouts. Had what is probably my favorite version a few weeks ago in Golden, Colorado. They were mixed with some thinly sliced Granny Smith apples and finished with a honey sherry glaze. Absolutely delicious.
In BR, my go to is from Rocca.
Also super easy to roast or saute yourself with EVOO and seasonings.

I'm OK playing down to mid 30s if I'm walking and there is sun and/or no wind. If it's cloudy and windy, I'm out.

What's the closest thing to a place to meet people in or around Baton Rouge?
Happy's Running Club (Tuesday nights at 6:15 downtown)
Mango's Beach Volleyball (closed for the winter, but will pick up again in the spring)
Court to Table (pickleball)
That said, I met my girlfriend on Match. Turns out we had crossed paths many years ago and have many mutual friends. Before then, I found it incredibly easy to find people on Facebook Dating. Pretty easy to vet people when you have mutual friends, and BR is a very small big city.

Probably the unspoken worst part about quitting drinking is finding out all your "friends" were really just "drinking buddies".
Boy, isn't this the truth. Most of my "friends" have stopped reaching out to me to do things since I don't drink anymore.
I'm 8 weeks without alcohol now. It was time. I drank nearly every day, but it could range from a single beer to almost a fifth of bourbon.
Here's what I've noticed:
- I'm not tired any more. I'm awake and alert all day long and don't have this feeling of being sleepy or tired during the day.
- I've lost weight. Not only am I losing weight since I'm not drinking those empty calories, but I'm also making better food choices.
- My skin is clearer. My face isn't as puffy. My girlfriend keeps commenting that I look healthier.
- No more hangovers. Even though I thought I wasn't hungover, I was a little hungover. It feels good to not have something holding me back.
Looking back, alcohol definitely played a part in the way my marriage ended. It wasn't everything, but it certainly made things worse/harder. And I was about to lose the best relationship I've ever had due to alcohol. My kids (both grown, no pics) are happy about it and wish I had quit sooner. So do I.
Do I miss alcohol? Yes and no. I don't miss the effects, but I do miss the taste of a good Old Fashioned or hoppy double IPA. I miss that more than I do the buzz. But I know that I can't go back. Ever. Could I have a drink and be OK? Yes. But I never know when that drink will turn into 10 drinks, and I can't ever go back to being that person. So that means I will always need to be at 0 drinks.

do any of y'all get brain fog the next morning from them? Some brands give me brain fog, some don't.
Not a single bit, which is why I drink these now instead of alcohol.

Yes, but it's been almost a decade.

This is a legit company. Are they completely fricked with the closing of the farm bill loophole from our idiot retarded corrupt beholden (to the alcohol industry) legislators?
I used to buy the 100mg lemonade bottles for $17 at Rouses. Now they can only sell 5mg lemonade bottles. Guess how much they are at Rouses? $17.
But you can order online and have the 100mg ones delivered. Bought several and it's nice since you can just put the cap back on the bottle unlike the cans that are open for good once you pop the top. Nice to mix a quarter of the bottle with some Topo Chico or something similar.
It was 10:45 before I was finally able to get in and check out.
I like them, but this is a valid point. All their songs are starting to sound the same.
