I smell a winning streak - a three in a row.
Geaux, Tigers
2 quick outs on LSU. :banghead:
Good inning for Cotton, 3 up, 3 down. 1 K, no BB's
Eighth inning, Tigers on their 4th pitcher. I guess McCune can't have a great outing every week. :dope:
Seven-five ballgame. Cmon, Tiger, dammit!
McCune has 3 K's, one hit, ? no BB's.
LSU batters have 2 hits, one run.
Auburn is up and down in order. Third out was a K.
Three K's for McCune now.
So where are our K girls? Cmon, guys!
Dang it, double play.
Line drive to pitcher, spins and throws to first.
:banghead:
Sac fly to Mahtook scores runner from third. Tied game
Auburn runners at the corners with one out. Let's go, McCune!
Who cares about PBP, who's posting K girls? We're already up to 2.
Nice SB by Hanover, Rhymes to second. Mikey at the plate. Let's go, Mahtook!
Runner already in scoring position :banghead:
Let's geaux, Tigers :geauxtigers:
Nope, but he would be starting on the mound tonight :dude:
Prediction: LSU snaps out of its batting slump.
McCune and Gausman put on another stellar performance, and the bats wake up. Mikey goes 4 for 5 tonight with at least one over the fence. Even Ware gets 2 or more hits. Tonight: LSU 7, Auburn 2. LSU goes on to win 2 or 3 of the series.
20-30 mph winds from the southwest up here in NWLa. Hasn't been a cloud in the sky all day. As it clears, expect some bigtime wind gusts down in BR.
Weather.com map-in-motion shows a few lingering cells just south of BR, but nothing behind it. Look like it will be clear as of gametime.

Did yall honestly think that our pitching would be holding us up and our hitting wouldn't be doing much of anything?

Nope. Never saw this one coming.

In addition to a bad batting slump, we're making too many mental baserunning errors, and too many defensive misjudgements in throwing and covering the bases.
But the LSU Tigers are like a mighty .400 hitter who is going through a mid-season slump. We'll sweep Auburn this weekend, and then it'll be off to the races for the rest of the season. :geauxtigers:
