Capital One savings account is 3.6%. Again, can be withdrawn at any time without penalty.

FWIW, Capital One is the worst.

Interesting take. I've got nothing but positive things to say about Capital One. Of course, not in BR.

I very rarely visit the inside of any bank.
Dogwood Canyon. You can schedule a tram ride that covers the entire park while allowing you to sit most of the time.

Sight and Sound - really good production

I've had rice, saltines, and fritos in my chili. Sometimes separate, sometimes all together. Add finely diced green onions. And cheese.

You need to find a new pharmacy. At mine, if there are 5 people in line, I can expect to wait between 5-8 minutes. If I am the only person, I'm out under 2 minutes.

Anyone have recent experiences?
All in one stock such as VOO, 5 stocks or 25 stocks?
I like apples with a healthy dose of peanut butter on each bite.

I like the gold label. Good quality and fit.
I don’t have this problem but I routinely see mix up of alter and altar.

That is illegal in some states. But good for them.
Two people:

My Mom
FIL

Both peacefully.
I've lost my Dad, my Mom, and my FIL. Just a few things I'd recommend:

1. Have them add you on their checking account
2. Have them do a pre-paid burial policy
3. As they age, most "nursing home" type facilities are 7-9k a month. Medicaid has a 5 year look back period so if possible, all possible funds should be removed from their name and placed in your name (or siblings).
4. Consider USUFRUCT on homes.
5. The more they can do without (kinda worthless things), the better. You can go ahead and dispose of them now to allow for quicker sale of home when that time comes.
I used TT for years, until I needed their customer service help. It was totally useless. Beyond useless.

I switched to FreeTaxUSA (3 years now I think) and could not be more pleased. I was able to download my last year of TT returns, upload that into FreeTaxUSA, and off I went.

I have encouraged 4 people to make the change and they all have - with similar results. Very pleased. Will never use TT again.

Can you give us an idea of what you consider budget friendly? Are we talking $500 or $5,000?

I used this for years as it is significantly cheaper than TurboTax. Switched to TT a couple years ago when I had a K1 with codes that FTA didn't recognize. I will say TT is much easier with the account linking feature and it removes some of the guesswork in inputting 1099s. That said, it's pretty pricy - enough so that if any additional complication is added to my taxes I'll switch to CPA.

Interesting. Two years ago, after using TT for many years, they did not support the form I needed. I called their customer service, in which I was tremendously disappointed.

I swapped that day to FreeTaxUSA and haven't looked back since.
Do you have an air purifier and if so, brand? Thoughts?
FreeTaxUSA. Thank me later.

1099 should not be that complicated. Depends on if you want to pay the fee a CPA will charge.
