re: Lane can win with Van Buren

Van Buren isn't an SEC-level QB.....you can bet your last dollar that Kiffin is scouting the portal.....
They've scored 21 answered points on us. The refs didn't cause all of that.

Gonna be a total rebuild for Kiffin!

I'm afraid you are correct. I'm not expecting much next year.

Yuk....that's cringeworthy....
What's there to do in Houston???

You been serving hard time ???

re: Ohio and Indiana are both overrated.

They aren't over-rated. But whether they are better than T Tech or Georgia is debatable.

Bama fans need to recalibrate their expectations post Saban

Agreed.....that lightning isn't likely to strike again....Saban was once in a generation coach....
Finebaum is worried that Kiffin may be a scourge to his beloved 'Bama.

We barely beat Arky and WKU...the schedules are never going to be equal for everyone.....face it....we're not very good no matter who we play....

We've got all the talent in the world. At some point LSU is LSU and OU is OU.

What season have you been watching ??? If we have "all the talent in the world," the "talent" must have been sitting on the bench the whole time.

If last night proved anything, it's that the QB can't trust his receivers to catch the ball downfield

More like our QB isn't even good enough to throw the ball downfield...a lot of throws just bounced to the receivers.....

Our problem is that we don't have enough good offensive players to execute any game plan....in that case, play-calling doesn't really matter...

The worst part was seeing WRs running wide open and he would skip the ball a yard in front of them!

Agreed....we can't compete next year with him....he's probably a nice kid, but he's not a SEC-level QB...

He's not a SEC-level QB.....his accuracy just isn't there....

They are decent but not as good as even the worst SEC teams.

Huh???....they were almost as good as...US !!!

If one of their WRs doesn't drop a wide-open TD pass in the first half....we lose that game.....
Van Buren isn't a SEC-level QB......maybe our O Line isn't, either.

This would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

Even Uncle Ed has a better "legacy."

That says it all.

Kiffin has his pick of two terrible programs

Exactly....if I were him, I'd stay at Ole Miss. It will be a complete rebuild at either place. Meanwhile, he's developed a very good program in Oxford.

re: Oklahoma -10.5

C'mon....we barely beat WESTERN KENTUCKY(and maybe would have lost if their WR doesn't drop a bunny, wide-open pass in their endzone).

I don't see any way that we stay close to the Okies in Norman.
He must improve his accuracy...also....he must learn to throw from the pocket....

My guess is that we might can do better.....

The problem is that you can never be sure that the new regime will be any better than the old one.

Hiring these coaches (with a new staff) is always a crapshoot.
