I was in Vegas watching the game with two friends that had bet LSU to win the National Championship. There were two USC fans that started saying they were the real National Champions. One of my buddies stood on his chair and said well then go up to the window and cash your USC ticket and see what happens, because when LSU wins I’m going to cash mine. The guys shut up immediately. It’s still the quickest I’ve ever seen someone win a sports argument in my life.

I was at the Rockies Braves game in Atlanta when Ubaldo Jiemenez no hit the Braves. Craziest part was he walked 9 guys that day, so nobody even realized it was happening until the 8th inning. I’m not really a fan of either team. We were in Atlanta for work, and decided to go watch a game while we were there. It was really cool to see live.

You have no idea what you are talking about. I’ve been on this board forever, and I rarely post, but trust me he doesn’t get his info from the pay sites. The info he had was what he was told. He can’t tell you everything he knows, but he wasn’t full of crap. The info was what the recruits were telling the coaches. They either changed their minds, or were lying to them. I don’t even know him, but I was getting the exact same information that he was bringing to the board.

I'm not arguing with you about people overreacting, but you're wrong about these points. Going into the Alabama series, we were projected to be a two seed by D1 baseball. They are usually very accurate about their postseason predictions. The way we were playing going into that series, we were going to be on the road for a regional.
That being said, I always thought that CPM would get the lineup figured out. He has a history of doing it coming down the stretch.

I'm not sure how people don't understand the situation. LSU football games are not just people from Baton Rouge. In Nola there are at least 3 school fairs that were planned because LSU was out of town. I'm sure that this is the case all over the state. People plan their lives around home and away games for LSU and the Saints. This is a weekend in which both were supposed to be out of town. Yes, I will be in front of the TV, but no, I can't spend 8 hours going to the game. I could care less what the ticket prices are. I just don't have the ability to go to the game this weekend. The schedule comes out a year in advance for a reason. The fact that 40-60 thousand people can change their plans with a 4-5 days notice is great, but there are also another 40-60 that can't. I'm not sure how people don't realize that.

I cannot stand Ryan. I find him to be incredibly whiney. He also didn't mention all of the times Wisconsin traveled on the block, and didn't get called for it. They let both teams be very physical. It's the way that I wish they would call more games.

If we win out, we are in the playoffs. I know it's not likely, but if we do, there is nothing OKC can do about it. A week ago, I would have never thought we'd be here.
