walk off to win CWS

Posted by drpepper23 on 6/7/23 at 11:37 am
i was thinking its crazy how LSU has two walk offs to win the national championship in 96 and 2000

i tried to google it but could only find walk off homers to win any game in omaha

i remember south carolina walking off ucla to win but cant recall any others??

warren morris and brad cresse living legends. two of the greatest moments in college baseball history
love it. sunday golds are the best but those whites are so cleannn
even accounting for recency bias in my own head as best i can,

3rd and 17 truly is my favorite play in lsu history

i wasnt at the game but i was on 6th st in austin and i just remember this magical feeling of pure bliss partying that night after the game that idk if i will ever quite feel again. it was this feeling that absolutely nothing could bring me down in that moment

gavin dugas tyfys in doing his best joey b impersonation
beau jordan middle finger otw to 1st

chaisson and divinity walking over to texas sideline to help themselves to their water amidst "real dbu" pregame tensions

big baby and tyrus holding lamarcus aldridge to 4 points with the final four on the line

lemahieu 2-run double down the line with 2 outs in the 9th

and lastly the king himself waving goodbye to all the texas fans right after tglorious 3rd and 17

no one i truly enjoy beating more than horns down!!
jimmy burrow horns down from the nosebleeds!!
cedric harris
lane mestepey
blair barbier

goat 9 hole ryan schimpf
i coulda sworn we always play it like 10 min before callin br when players still warming up. since when has it been after cbr?

i like it better cause it keeps the hype goin
honestly this is tough to say but 2012 was the most intense game and environment i think ive ever witnessed in person except maybe 07 fla

just the whole storyline of 2011 and the way it played out with our pass offense being the obvious weak link. everyone knew we had to throw the ball to beat them and mett came alive that night

the long dump off to copeland down the sidelines to end the 3rd q...
that fade to jarvis in the sez to take the lead...
and then with the clock on our side we drive down the field and bleed it to under 2 min left to go for it on 4th and 1 and get stuffed and the rest is history

one of the many that got away against saban but that one hurt the most. we could have very easily won the national championship if we win that game

Need that Purdue field lighting.
Makes the field feel like center stage.

always noticed this for lakers games only at staples. when the clippers play the stands are more lit up but when the lakers play it looks like a performance on center stage
ive never seen a more embarrassing look on a head coaches face
damn cancel culture coming after everything i love!!
a disease that is killing off the sick and elderly...sounds too coincidental not to be engineered
