I have no frickin' idea if Johnson will be able to get one. I'm definitely not in the loop when it comes to BBall recruiting. This is all theoretical on my part.
Hypothetically (dependent on his signing), Coach Johnson might want to get him some sparse or "garbage" minutes just to get his feet wet. He would be backing-up our Senior JUCO PG to give him sporatic rest.
Sounds good.

1.) Sign a JUCO PG for this upcoming season.
2.) Sign this kid for 2012.
3.) Redshirt him or slowly give him minutes as a freshman.
4.) WIN.

Miles can't recruit at Michigan like he can at LSU. Why give up a gravy-train of talent to do an entire overhaul that he might not be capable of bringing to an elite level? It wasn't blind loyalty keeping him here, it was common sense.
GB and Jets.

Favre will be heartbroken.

The best way to classify TCU's offense is as a "spread multiple" offense. Meaning that we use the basic principles of the spread to get guys in space but we employ a multitude of formations such as the pistol, two-back sets, no-back sets, I-formation, and even a little wild-frog. A common misconception when you mention a "spread" offense is that it refers to a pass-heavy attack like say Texas Tech in the Mike Leach era, but on the contrary a "spread" offense can often be a run-heavy attack like the Oregon Ducks. In my mind the term "spread" indicates the desire of the team to "spread" the field horizontally to get their playmakers into space and to then "spread" the ball around within that space.
