EXACTLY!!!! MY question is, Why JUST now? These things have been going on since he got here. Yes, we are the least penalized team in the SEC right now, but the penalties we do get are usually on offense (false start, illegal shift, illegal substitution, delay of game, etc, etc, etc)! All penalties that are a result of unpreparedness...ESPECIALLY IN WEEK 11. So, why are you all JUST seeing this???

Up until this past weekend, he had his record on his side. Even in 2008, that season could be written off as an anomaly. 2 losses this season would've been right in line with 2005-2007. Now we've started a losing streak against 3 teams, and I don't know anyone who's confident in stopping that losing streak against Arkansas this weekend. 7-8 against SEC opponents over the past 2 years is sobering given that we've been among the SEC elite this decade. Without that record on his side, all that's left is questionable in-game coaching decisions.

Are you saying we have lost more than we have won the past 2 seasons?

last year 8-5
this year 8-3 so far

That is 16-8
Im not saying it is good, but I am saying your math is questionable.

We're 7-8 in the SEC. Your post was about playing SEC teams week in and week out. Your reading comprehension is questionable.

We all hated Saban after losing 5 games one season as well. Just sayin'.

NEWSFLASH

Miles will not be fired. We will have a GREAT season next year!

We face tough competition each week we play an SEC team. Sometimes we lose.

More often than not we've lost over the past two seasons.

Why would anyone want Tommy Tuberville to coach here?
I think he needs to win the SEC West next season to win people back. We've already proven that we're no longer among the SEC elite, losing our division again next year solidifies that standing.

If Porter leaves, yes it might hurt recruiting some this signing class. However Miles has made good hires in the past, Even when Jimbo left, I believe that Miles would do the same here. As far his couching the RB, I have never once, in his five seasons here, thought the running backs were couched up for any game. IMO we would get a much better RB couch in here.

Do you think we could get a FB ottoman here as well?
I'm starting MJD, DeAngelo Williams and Ricky in one league.

Statistically speaking, then, aren't you probably ignorant as hell?

None more devastating to the American south.

What is a shame is that Ole Miss is allowing this.

What a surprise...
BTW, that photo of the P & G starsand bars is next to a sign that says "Otis for Heisman".
That wouldn't be an old photo from the Karl Otis Trimble days, would it? If so, it's more than 30 yrs old...

It says Zito for Heisman

In honor of Ned...

Receivers, Punters and Linemen of FIU!

You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which you have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fields, you will bring about the destruction of the Gator football machine, the elimination of Urban Meyer tyranny over the oppressed peoples of the southeastern United States, and security for ourselves in a free world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened. He will fight savagely.

But this is the year 2009! Much has happened since the Urban Meyer triumphs of...2008-2009. The NFL has inflicted upon the Gators great defeats, in the zone, man-to-man. The NFL draft has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Your Home Fronts have given you an overwhelming inferiority in weapons and munitions of football, and placed at your disposal mediocre reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!

I have full confidence in your courage and devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!

Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.

I think he'll be good to go this week. I picked up his surgeon in my Fantasy Orthopedics league last week.

Lions DEF

Worth a shot against Cleveland? As dreadful as the Lions might be, Cleveland's offense is an blight upon the sport of football. Thoughts on dropping Miami's defense for Detroit's?

when will the networks learn paramedic shows always suck

The only way a paramedic show could be legit would be if it were like Scrubs. Scrubs is by far the most realistic medical show out there.
For a 4-6 team, mine's not looking too bad.

QB - Philip Rivers
QB - Matt Ryan
WR - Brandon Marshall
WR - Steve Smith (NYG)
WR - Derrick Mason
RB - MJD
RB - DeAngelo Williams
TE - Greg Olsen
WR/RB - Ricky Williams
BN - Marshawn Lynch
BN - Austin Collie
BN - Visanthe Shiancoe

K - Stephen Gostkowski

DEF - subject to change

Miles made the right decision with hiring Chavis. I'm sure that weas VERY hard for him to do. He'll make a move at the end of the season. Besides, all fo you were hyped when he hired Crowton.

Crowton was perfect for the situation we had in 2007. He's got an apparent track record of struggling to develop talented quarterbacks, his stints at LSU and Oregon are pretty consistent in this respect.
