You don't think throwing a considerable amount of money, remember we're talking tens of millions here, would alter that? Even in the slightest way?

Yes. The only problem with being an addict is how damn expensive it is. If I had tens of millions of dollars I would be a happy addict for the rest of my life.
Maybe. If you had tens of millions of dollars, could you keep your addiction at it's current level, and not go chasing the next, great high? Having tens of millions, makes that a whole lot easier.

Damn. Just think of the testosterone in that dugout.
re: Facebook Board?

Why don't we just end all the beating around the bush? Every user should have their own board, where they could ban certain users & topics from being discussed.

He seems to really enjoy being arrested. Strange...

I honestly don't give enough of a frick about the subject. I just thought your sermonizing was amusing, sport.
I wasn't sermonizing, just stating the painfully obvious facts. Trust me, when I'm sermonizing, you'll know it, squirt.
re: Wal-Mart: How much food do you buy there?
Posted by STERLING on 5/3/12 at 4:56 pm
We do our shopping almost exclusively at WalMart. Save meat, but that's because we have some really good local places around here to buy from. I don't see the point of shopping somewhere else, and pay higher prices, just because. Makes no sense. But, if it makes people feel better about themselves to happily pay more, then power to them. I like money, and I'm not gonna waste it just because I can afford to.

Emoticons & one-liners. Still waiting for substance.

Uh, no. What does politics have to do with anything? I'm not affiliated with any political party or ideology.
Please, point out what was wrong in what I wrote. Please, dissect my post, and tell me what's untrue. Are you capable? Or, do you just wildly go about making asinine generalization often?

Every corporation should do this.
No, no they shouldn't. Each corporation should independently assess their situation, and determine what's reasonable. I believe, no correct that, I know employee morale is absolutely one of the most important aspects of the work environment. If this isn't popular, and it's not working, then why continue? To prove a point?
And the whole offering healthy only options to employees at work will make a difference line? No it fricking won't. The fatties & whoever else will still eat what the frick they want at home, on the weekends & go out for lunch. But the mouth breathers & do-gooders can tell everyone they're "making a difference", and that's all that matters....intentions.
ETA: Just to be clear, because, I'm sure some moron will misinterpret what I'm saying. I 100% support a company's right to offer whatever they want for lunch. It's absolutely their right. However, if they truly cared about the health & well-being of their employees, they would incentivize it.

If the play ain't in the Tecmo Bowl play book, then we don't frick with it.

re: Do you think Aaron Nola can throw a No-hitter?
Posted by STERLING on 4/17/12 at 9:20 am
I think he can throw a perfect game. Here you are bad mouthing the guy, asking if he can only throw a no-hitter. What, you don't think he's good enough for a perfect game? Why do you hate Aaron Nola? Are you even an LSU fan? You make me sick :yack:
Only a no-hitter? :casty:
Only a no-hitter? :casty:

One thing I don't get is why you care about such insignificant plotholes. Jack doesn't get on so he can die and women across America can cry. They don't show effects of being in cold water so they could act and not shiver through their lines the wholes time. It's a hollywood epic brah.
Exactly. Reminds me of people who complain about movies like Rambo. "That's such bullshite, like 1 dude could really defeat Vietman in a matter of weeks. The American military spent decades over there & lost."
