Thanks, Matt Nagy. That was some horseshite. You're not getting better throwing it up with your crap QB vs Prevent Cover 4 being down FOUR SCORES!!!! Total dick move. Take the L. And calling the timeouts? May the Bears lose every remaining game.
I'm so proud of y'all. This is good rivalry fun! Not like those Bama psychos who will poison a tree that has been around for longer than any of our families. Trolling Bama AND the SEC while spurring their local economy. What a gracious GFY.

AZ needs OL. Period. Andrus Peat and 2019 2nd Round for Pat Pete and winning the Super Bowl IN Atlanta?

Stated, the Saints are pretty damn good, and improving every week, so I won't lose any sleep thinking about this one. Would be awesome to see PP7 back in the Boot though. I think he'd look better in Black and Gold than any other combo: heavy bias.

Honestly surprised Kansas City isn't in this conversation.
You don't think PP would wanna come back to Louisiana and ball? Long term, he can get a deal wherever, but as a rental? This isn't a bidding war. The question: which team would offer the goods the Cardinals covet? New Orleans has more in the realm of trade-able assets than New England, including the O-line help AZ desperately needs. Unless NE was willing to part with a high draft pick and someone like Edeldoucheman, the Saints could offer quite the lure.
Regarding the immeasurable...

He's twice the athlete of most the dudes placed above him on these "Greatest of All Time" lists. It's truly asinine.

Bountygate destroyed the early chemistry this Payton and Brees marriage developed. The fact that the two of them are now experiencing a young team turning the corner...? Very exciting. God bless, Breesy. May he keep rolling until he's 45.

I'm biased, but knowing his work ethic, and his refined skill set, I say he's Top 3 EASY. He's a true on-field general. An asset to the game of football.
Saints provided a blueprint for other teams to follow. May the Seahawks lose every game.

Absolutely. No doubt. The team is considered Top 4 talent, and if they go on a run, and wipe Alabama, Ole Miss and A&M from the West, before dispatching (likely) Tennessee in the SEC Championship game...? There would be no more impressive streak in any Power 5 conference. Louisville/Houston are the wildcards.

It's a big ask--scratch that--HUGE ask, but I would hardly be surprised if it happened. I love Coach O pushing to a more NFL style week, with less time on the field, and more time in the football classroom. They need to sit #7 until he's genuinely healthy. Guice, Williams and Brossette are capable to shoulder the load.

Leslie and Cam are inserting a wishbone package on Wednesday.

Just to swim in the absurdity for another moment... it would be rather amazing to see Williams at FB, Guice and Fournette at split back... Dural flanker right, Dupree flanker left.

Sweet mercy, the options.

Games that start at 11AM Central Daylight Time.

Seriously, though... all of the above...

The WR corps--sans Diarse--looked very sure handed in the second half. Next week should be a good time for them to find some rhythm.

It seems he's not quite ready, but with Brees out, it might be the right time to get him more game reps.

There was a noticeable PUSH in the run game when he saw that snap in the 4th quarter vs. Tampa. Fresh legs, sure, but the guy is a beast. I'm hopeful his confidence is growing.

No, naming the starter isn't the only thing that matters. If it is "that close" in Miles' mind you know what will happen after a couple of ints. Have seen that show before.

To the tune of 21-0 in one of the biggest, if not the biggest game in LSU Football history. He's a very stubborn man, that's for sure.
By Auburn circumstances, do you mean handing the ball off two times, then only being allowed to throw on 3rd down, or when they were in -10+ yards from the stick?

There is monster play potential with Harris when they roll the pocket. And some misdirection draw capability that I'm shocked they have yet to use. To much pro vanilla from Cam.

I like the breakdown. If he plays and beats Auburn, that's it. He's the man.

Beyond Harris being more talented at the position, it's obvious that the team around him is more confident when he's on the field.
Why. He'd have to play behind Jennings now, too.

Yep. I bet Bobby Petrino would roll out the red carpet in Louisville, or Charlie Strong would love to have him at UT...Teddy B sure benefited from that relationship. Where could he not go and succeed?

It just further demonstrates how full of crap Les Miles can be. I'm not going to say "always is..." but he's a stubborn one, that Miles.

Let's play JJ over JL. One of those two dudes played in a the NFL for a couple seasons.
Is that Pierre Warren kid still floating in free agency? Sweet mercy. While watching SNF I said to myself, "At least it can't get any worse." Seriously. I'm taking all the blame, folks. Send your hate mail to my doghouse--where I'll be for the rest of the season.

(Seriously, I think the Saints issues are all up front on D, and this is just an issue with the icing on the cake.)
It's a nod to the rugby jerseys from which the sport came. You know Goodell, and honoring tradition... wait... he destroys trad--... Great. Now I'm all mixed up.

Don't really care what they wear so long as another mark goes under W.

Good Lord. Mob mentality much? Don't play too strongly to the stereotype... Why in the hell would Jeremy Shockey snitch? Have you asked yourself that question? You're taking the word of Warren Sapp...Warren...Sapp...

Since when is whole hog a credible source of information? I think he's confused that Shockey mentioned the bounty program to him...

What about another player who was expecting to be re-signed by the Saints and wasn't? Like Darren Sharper? Shockey showed no ill-will toward the Saints after being released. Sharper? I'll quote his tweet as the season started and he didn't get a call from New Orleans: "Wow." Anyone see the pot he was stirring on Twitter today? Talking about Brees being disrespected, etc. It's a bit much.

No. I'm not saying that Sharper snitched, but I'd certainly lean toward a retiree, rather than someone in the midst of a season. Someone on the defense who had many more details about the bounties. The information the league got was detailed.
