Dude’s making that cash this year!

I would hardly called this one good game…

“Mayers, a graduate of St. Amant, put together an impressive rookie season where he finished with a 9-1 record, a 2.02 ERA and 105 strikeouts. He allowed only 44 hits in 75.2 innings pitched for a .175 opponent batting average. He struck out a season-high 11 batters in his win over Louisiana Tech and closed out his freshman season with eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings against Alabama in the NCAA Regionals.
The honor adds to an already long list of accolades for the Colonels’ ace, who was named Southland Freshman of the Year, All-Southland First Team and SLC All-Tournament. Mayers, a semifinalist for the College Baseball Foundation Pitcher of the Year, was also one of two Colonels to be named to the Tuscaloosa Regional All-Tournament Team.“

Here’s the always negative guy. When he signs you’ll say “probably won’t live up the hype” when he gets his first sack you’ll say “well that’s probably one of few” when he wins Butkus award you’ll say “that’s fine and all but I just don’t see him as a pro prospect”
He’s the same guy who says “it’s over” when the other team scores 1st. Some people are so predictable.
re: Has there ever been any shockers in Heisman vote?
Posted by RMLtiger on 12/9/23 at 4:03 pm
Fournette not even getting an invite because of one game that was not his fault.
re: Why are Herbie and Fowler so pro-Oregon?
Posted by RMLtiger on 12/1/23 at 10:31 pm
Herbie already said last week that Jayden Daniels is his Heisman winner. They’re doing their job man. Take the P&G glasses off and you’ll understand.
re: How fast is JD? 40 and 100 times?
Posted by RMLtiger on 11/15/23 at 12:32 am
Daniels was clocked at 21.8 mph in his 85 yd TD. That would be the 3rd fastest time in the NFL so far this season. Behind only Tyreek Hill (22.01) and Devon Achane (21.93).

Has to bring it every game to compare to LF7
He brought it every game except Bama lol
That Bama game had zero to do with LF7. Watch that game again and tell us where he was supposed to get any yards. No QB.. No passing game. No offensive imagination. Average OL. When you’re one dimensional vs a Saban defense and he has 5 star talent all over the field on that side that’s what happens. It doesn’t matter how talented you are. It absolutely amazes me how football illiterate some people are.
re: Who is a player you guys are surprised hasn’t made a higher push up the depth chart ?

Would love to see Hilton as the primary kickoff returner. Speed to burn! I get tired of seeing the slower RBs returning kicks. I know the coaches have their reasons but man if he could earn that spot and be dependable he could be a difference maker.

I just hope he isn’t this generations Dan Marino. Coming close but no cigar.
I think Joe has a leg up on Marino because he has a decent defense. Poor Marino NEVER had even close to a decent defense.

Don’t bother letting these idiots get you worked up.
They believe everyone should be completely obsessed and have no other interests.

Don’t care. Ready for baseball season.
re: Play calling seems to be improving
Posted by RMLtiger on 10/23/22 at 11:02 pm
It has more to do with Daniels finally trusting his receivers and getting rid of the ball on time than play calling.

Both could’ve played either.

But this is A league. Something below SEC level of competition
This is on a dumb level like those gump retards who believed bama could beat the lions a few years ago
One of my best friends was an LSU All American and played minor league ball for 6 years. All the way up to AAA. He told me that AA pitching was about the same as the SEC top level pitching. This is his opinion not mine. Maybe this take is not so dumb.
re: Former Tiger Jake Slaughter doing well in AA

It actually is older than he'd ideally like to be in AA. I have several friends who went through the minors and most of them said 27 years old was their cutoff. People forget they make shite money in the minor leagues. Unless they were drafted high and received big signing bonuses, they're broke!
With that being said... He's tearing it up! Maybe he'll make after all.
