My mother has been diagnosed with Parkinson's for almost 20 yrs and she is in her early 80s now and rockin along. At first she couldn't even hold a hair brush to brush her hair and she used to have a lot of trouble eating without getting choked. But newer meds have helped her a lot in recent yrs. Yes, there's hope.
