Is that the one on Perkins by Bowie's?
Yes, but you should call first to see if there are any left.
I bought mine on Mar 13. Last spring they sold out quickly. When I called this year, there were 21 left so we hustled out there to make sure we got one.

I have several medical doctors (including 2 women) as clients and I refer to each of them by their first name.
I have one white liberal female college professor as a client who goes by Dr Smith and signs her name Mary Smith, PHD.
There seems to be something inherent about these college educated white women in academia who need somehow to have everyone else to affirm their perceived intellectual superiority.

I planted a banana tree today. It’s a Blue Java variety I bought from Louisiana Nursery for a few reasons.
They grow well here, are cold hardy down to 10-20 degrees, grow quickly, and the bananas taste like ice cream.
I am pretty excited to see how it turns out.

If I never hear Lyn over enunciate the word “plunked” again, I’ll be a happy fan.
“5 Tiger hitters have been plunked-uh tonight.”

Of course, if you are willing to pay a lot of $$$, you might find 3 tickets for that series.
He may have to buy 4, which should be easier, and then sell the single to someone simply looking to get in the ballpark.

This creature was in my carrot tops yesterday. I am not sure what it is and whether it’s a pest or not.
It looks like it would catch speckled trout if it was on a hook.
Any ideas?

Bob Feller, Hall in Fame pitcher who enlisted Dec 9 after the bombing of Pearl Harbor:
Born in the small town of Van Meter, Iowa, the right-hander signed with Cleveland for $1 and an autographed baseball in 1936, when he was still in high school. Armed with a blazing fastball, Feller went directly to the Majors and was a rookie star at the age of 17 for the Indians, striking out 15 batters in his first big league start, 10 in his fourth and 17 in his fifth.
Feller, who was a gun captain aboard the USS Alabama, was discharged from the Navy on Aug. 22, 1945, earning six campaign ribbons and eight battle stars. Two days later, he donned his familiar No. 19 and took the mound for Cleveland once again, firing a complete game with 12 strikeouts in a 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers.
