F it. Sign all 3 to “prove it” deals and let them battle it out in camp.

Can’t imagine why they now offer a $299 annual flight pass

Student section in 2009 or so. A wasp lands on a girls head sitting right in front of me and I gently swat it away slightly grazing her head. She takes this as me hitting her. She doesn’t believe my true, but albeit far fetched wasp story. Argument ensues, we’re both too drunk to come to an agreement or make her understand I was trying to help her. Eventually agree to disagree.
10 minutes later some fat bald biker frick(her Dad) storms up the stairs and grabs me by the throat and offers to kill me. Tried to explain the situation again to no avail, cops get involved, he’s removed from student section and my group moves away from his dumb bitch daughter.
Following home game she ends up sitting right in front of me again. Didn’t even bother, just got up and moved.
That and 2012 Bama are my top 2.

Played in a best ball golf tournament with a buddy when we were in college. We mostly played casually ant the time and typically shot high 90s.
We both played like absolute dog shite and shot a 106. Would have shot a 104 but the dickheads we played with enforced a 2-stoke penalty for not putting out a ball 3 inches from the hole. Not suprisingly, we got dead last.

Yep, some do and I believe they develop rattles pretty young. I saw one recently that couldn’t have been more than a few weeks old and the rattle was already developing.

Got my arse handed to me at US Pro Cup last weekend. Moved up a category to get some extra miles and just didn’t have the legs to keep up from the start.
Still a great experience and the Vail Lake trails in Temecula are excellent if you ever have the chance to ride them.
Sea Otter Fuego XL in 3 weeks. I do much better in longer races so hoping for a nice result there.

Damn, your kid is a tough SOB. Good on him for battling through all that. One decent off and I’m usually toast for the day and skittish for a week or two after. Nice to be young and fearless.
I’ve going in the US Pro Cup this weekend in Temecula, CA. Chris Blevins and a few of the other top pros will be racing the same course that weekend. Can’t wait to humble myself and compare times.

Get them around my house all the time. I have a video from our driveway cam somewhere of a coyote going after one, getting sprayed, and then changing his mind real quick.
My dogs got hit hard a couple years ago too. It took a long time for the smell to finally go away.

Hell yea that’s awesome. I don’t have a power meter but going to invest in one soon. I don’t know my numbers at all but know that’s damn impressive at 146lbs.
Keegan’s on another level. When we crossed paths at Leadville I was in disbelief when I didn’t see anyone behind him for about 10 minutes.
A guy I know who is very fast(~7 hours at Leadville) was on a group ride with him recently. He said he set a 3 minute power PR sitting on Keegan’s back wheel. My buddy was on his road bike and Keegan was on an MTB.

Let’s see if we can revive this thread. Hopefully the weather is cooling down for y’all.
I posted earlier in the summer about my race schedule and wanted to give a quick recap.
Crusher in the Tushar- 69 mile, 10k vert gravel race. Absolute sufferfest, would not recommend. It’s basically a 5k climb, big descent followed by a few miles of flat then another 5k climb with a mountaintop(over 10k feet) finish. Very hot and the back half climb was fully exposed to the sun the whole way. My garmin data had a point where I was crawling up a 14% grade at 3mph at a HR 168bpm and it was 109 degrees. That tells you everything you need to know about how brutal this race is. Was happy with my time and it was a great test but don’t see myself going back.
Leadville Trail 100- 105 miles, 12k vert at elevations hitting 12,500ft. This was my second time but still an absolutely epic experience. Would highly recommend if you have the desire and an opportunity to get in. Dropped well over an hour from last years time and super pumped. Will be back in ‘24.
Next up have a small local race and a 50 miler in late October before taking some time off.

Sounds like a cool event and you could definitely do more laps if you truly raced it.
Also agree that a light liner is pure insanity - I wouldn’t ride 30 min without a chamois. You’ve got a tougher arse than me.
