Everyone's risk tolerance is different. Know yourself and your temperament. In my case I traded for 30 years-commodities (seasonal spreads, cross commodity spreads, naked options, position trading), stocks (short and long), naked options, currencies, wherever I saw opportunity. I'm 66 now and my wife about to turn 65. She's very risk averse at this stage and really I am too. If you have enough to feel secure in safe instruments-I bonds, TIPS, TBills and Notes, Investment grade corporates, High grade preferred stocks, etc. using the 4% rule why take the risk of the stock market? You may have reason too but I personally don't. I do sprinkle in some BDC's, Reits, and RCTIX on the margin to spice up my yield because I'm comfortable with those. Good retirement to all. Anyone else here who invests similarly to this I'd love to see ideas here. May God Bless all you folks.
I wish they would start a G5 playoff and leave big boy football alone.

Me too. I've read several of his books. My father had them and I've been reading them since I was a kid. Louis l'Amour and Elmer Kelton are my favorites. William Johnstone or rather the man who wrote under that pen name was from Tallulah out around Bear Lake. He wasn't famous when I was growing up but I remember him. I've read a few of his Smoke Laval books. I'm currently reading a B N Rundell series.
Cluster headaches are brutal. Pretriptan era was really tough. Hard to believe how many of us TDers have them.

I've read a lot of them. Recently I read Riders Of The Purple Sage again.
We've been with consumer cellular for years. We are happy with them. Light years better than Straight Talk.

My wife makes omelettes with it.
The first shot my arm got red and I had a shingles like lesion on my hand that itched bad for 2 weeks. The second shot I had no ill effects. I had shingles once 10-12 years ago. It wrapped around my midsection. I had scars for awhile but they faded.

re: Debridement. Ever had it done?

My pajama bottoms caught fire from a gas bathroom heater when I was in the first grade. I took off running when I realized I was on fire and my mother caught me and tore them off me. I had bad burns on both calves. I had to go to this old Doc (circa 1965) lay face down on his exam table while he debrided my legs. I still remember it vividly. I had to go back several times.
Our football coach used Jim Wade on us. It works but be prepared for the burn.

re: What are you reading?

Max Brand. Jeanne Guyon's autobiography and her Final Steps In Christian Maturity. Spurgeon, Whitefield, and Fenelon always. Also a lot of W. Phillip Keller. Serenity being the one I just finished.
ESV for me. I love the ESV study bible. NKJV would be my second choice.
We had one at our camp. Quarter moon carved in the door.

I agree with VMFXX. I use it for the settlement fund in my brokerage accounts. Good rates plus free bank transfers plus free checkwriting if you want it.
