I have a 2012 Nautic Star 2200 TE that getting ready to sell. I’m looking for someone in the Baton Rouge area to clean wax and buff. I’m not in the market for ceramic coating. TIA for any recommendations that you may have.

If you live in Baton Rouge, contact Tigers Locksmith on Staring Lane. They can sell you a new fob and program it in about 15 minutes.
You sound like you must work in the industry. Not everyone knows what an EFR is.

I’m telling my age but there was a man that played several times a week at Webb Park that played all woods. His clubs were custom made by Irving King. Only clubs that were not woods were his sand wedge and putter. This was in the late 60’s.
Dr. Daniel Nelson did both of my catarsacts about 5 years ago and put in Toric implants. No issues and I only have to wear glasses for reading with a 250 magnifier. Couldn't be happier.

How do you like it? Any issues? I’ve got a Sonos setup in two areas and love it, but it is definitely expensive.

It works great and I'm very happy with the system. Purchased everything form Crutchfield and their tech support is great. tReceiver was 450 Port about 500 and I have Polk ceiling mount speakers that were about 400 a pair.

Able control I Tunes, Radio (I Heard) Pandora from my phone as well as volume. Only reason I have the speaker selector is to keep from over powering the reciever.

I just upgraded my system and wanted to do something similar. Purchased a Yamaha amp with Sonos Port and a four zone speaker selector. I also have individual controls (rheostats) on tow of the speaker systems.

re: Floor demo/installation quotes

My wife(no pics) and I had a situation similar to yours. We purchased all material for new bathroom floors, shower surround, and bedrooms from Pro Source. The material that was purchased was based on quantities provided by an installer who was recommended by Pro Source. When it came time to install flooring and wall tile he did not return our calls. Assured was recommended by an acquaintance and we negotiated installation only price in the same way that you have done. IMHO their prices were very reasonable considering the quality of their work I hired two men to demo the existing ceramic in the master bath and it is a very tedious and labor intensive process. It was necessary to rent a floor grinder to provide the final prep to the concert. Something else to consider is that Assured has provided an itemized quote which is something other contractors did not provide. Should you choose Assured I believe you will be well pleased with the quality of their work and I have no affiliation with their company. Each day their crews were on site a project manager made site visits twice a day to make sure we were happy with everything.
I have a Porter Cable 3 1/2" rull round framing nailer that will not shoot nails anymore. It blows a continuous stream of air from the exhaust. I'm looking for someone in the Baton Rouge or nearby that can repair it. TIA
Your price is about the same as I will be paying for the 20 KW Kohler. Will you be able to obtain permitting to place it less than three feet from my neighbor's property line?
My neighbors house is approximately 15 feet from where the generator will be located.

Permitting for whole house generator.

I plan to have a new 20 KW generator installed. The generator provider says that it is necessary to be 18" from our home and 36" from the property line to obtain the necessary permits for the installation. The generator is 26" wide and the total distance from my exterior wall to the property line is approximately 50". IMHO there is adequate room for the generator maintaining the 18" distance from my home but I don't have the necessary distance from the property line. I'm in East Baton Rouge Parish but not in the City of Baton Rouge. The property line is adjacent to my neighbor's driveway. Have any of you had to address this and is there any possible type of workaround. TIA for your suggestions.
They may have been overcome by methane gas. I read of a similar incident where eight members of one family (three generations) perished in a manure pit.
I was given an EZ Go TXT golf cart, and it will need some work. Looking for recommendations on the best place to buy replacement 6 volt batteries in Baton Rouge. TIA
I should have been more specific. This is a top of the line professional trimmer that cost over $500 new. TIA
I was given a Stihl string trimmer that has not been used for about five years. Would like to have it serviced. Looking for suggestions.

Antique Lawnmower made in Louisiana

Posted by jobbieman on 2/17/21 at 2:47 pm
I have an antique lawnmower that has the original nameplate on it. It is a Rebel Mower that was made by the Packwood Manufacturing Company in Reserve, LA. I'm pretty sure that it was manufactured in the early fifties because my father purchased it around 1953. It has a 3.5 horsepower Clinton Engine (not original) and has a round cutter deck with no front wheels. The mower blades are belt driven. If anyone has any information or may be a collector of antique mowers please let me know. I'd like to find a good home for it.

Gas Furnace Pilot Light Control

Posted by jobbieman on 2/13/21 at 9:47 am
My pilot light on our gas furnace has gone out. Everything that I have read says to rotate the control to off, then rotate to pilot, press down and light the pilot. I cannot rotate the control counterclockwise or clockwise. I've tried pushing down in different ways etc. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I planted broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower in late September. All of the plants have done great with the exception of the broccoli. Something has eaten the heads before they have had a chance to develop. The cabbage and cauliflower plants have not been affected. Any advice will be helpful.

TIA
