Been around here since 2005 — mostly lurking, sometimes posting — and I’ve got to say this board has lost its masculinity. Used to be sharp, funny, and brutal in the best way. Now it feels watered down and overly sensitive.
I’d like to propose to Chicken that we add Sexual Identification next to the username so that we can better gauge the source of the information we are reading. There are many poster here that are in their formative years and TD will have a strong influence over their future brain development. Adding this feature will help these individuals better understand the source of their information. It will also allow us OGs to hold the soy boys accountable, and disregard the opinions and statements of others posters who have infiltrated this board.

I just started watching LSU baseball during the 2023 title run. I understand that the K Lady has been around for a long time, and she’s not a bad looking older lady. Was she a smoke show back in the day? Pics?

I started to do some quick math on my idea. Let’s say on average every person in the stadium slid down the hill 1 time per game (102,321) and LSU charged $20 per slide. Over 8 home games, that’s $16M per year. 3 years from now, the university could pay his buyout and have $12M leftover to pay a new coach…..

Y’all are missing the point….I wasn’t expecting this to turn into a whole debate on the historical significance of the mounds.

Growing up, some of my best memories were of sliding down the Indian Hills on cardboard while my parents got lubed up prior to kickoff. Since I live out of state now, I only make it back every few years for the Alabama game, and it’s wild to see how much has changed – like the fences around the hills with Lil’ Boosie on full blast. I was thrilled about the governor’s initiative to bring the live tiger back to the stadium, but seeing those fenced-off hills was a bit of a gut punch.
Then I got to thinking….maybe the university could find some revenue with this change. They could charge admission to the hills and hand out branded cardboard from sponsors with their face or logo on them. If this is something that could be put on the governor’s agenda, I think it would be a great way to restore another tradition and contribute to Coach Kelly’s buyout!
