I've been doing this weekly for a few months now. it helped me get out of what felt like constant fight or flight mode, always rushing from one thought or thing to the next. It gives me a lasting sense of well-being, calm, and peace. I'm slower to anger or agitation. shite still happens all the time, of course, but I'm much more mentally equipped to handle it, and I let a lot more slide off my back than I used to.

that and making sure your body is getting all the necessary vitamins it needs consistently.

I used to go a restaurant on Magazine just because I could easily walk there. Walked up one day not that long ago and there was a note out front that said there would be a 20% surcharge on all orders including takeout so they could pay their employees a "living wage". I went somewhere else. That restaurant isn't there anymore and a better one is in its place.

It's not the customers responsibility to pay your employees a living wage. It's the responsibility of the business owner. You decide what to pay your employees, you decide what you need to charge the customer, then the customer decides whether or not they want to be your customer.

I can only speak for myself but the new collection service is much worse. My trash used to be picked up twice a week early on Tuesday & Friday mornings.

Now it's down to once a week. It's supposed to be on Tuesday mornings still but sometimes they don't show up until Thursday. So everyone has to leave their trash out on the street for days because we don't know when they might show up and can't take the chance of missing it.

All at no cost savings to me
