Ceedee’s play was suspect tonight. In addition to all the drops, there was one he caught behind the line of scrimmage then ran a couple yards and tackled himself. When I saw that, it raised a lot of questions. Very poor effort at the least.
I thought targeting for sure, forcible contact to the head or neck of a defenseless player (he was in the act of making a catch). There was undeniably a helmet to helmet hit there. I’ve seen LSU players called for targeting on much less egregious hits!

Was 2013 the year they only had about 3 homers hit the whole CWS tournament? It was right around that time. Maybe the next year.

I’m not sure, but he sure gave that side armer a bunch of ankle high strike calls. It seems like every single break went cc’s way, and they still lost. If Dickinson’s HBP gets called back; no way cc’s HBP today shouldn’t have been.

Cowan only gave up one run, the solo HR. The other runs were charged to Shores.

That ball was so far outside, I was shocked, shocked I tell you, that the catcher got a glove on it.
I’m not saying anyone can completely shut Clark down, but Clark had her two best career games as far as points responsibility, which also happens to be 1st and 3rd (per NCAA stats shown on ESPN), against Van Lith (70 vs ‘23 Louisville and 67 vs ‘24 LSU). So apparently, Clark plays her absolute best against Van Lith.
Losing 3 of those 4 games is not very impressive

Paul McCartney is a fantastic musician, but “Wonderful Christmas Time” is not his best work. I want to punch the radio when that song plays.
