quote:totally agree....UK will NEVER win a NC with this formula....there are two basic reasons why Calipari has never won the NC...1) the teams he recruits never has adequate time to gel to defeat older and more experienced teams in a "one and done" setting and 2) Calipari is just flat-out not that good of a game coach
if 'dip shite' couldn't win it all with the players he had last year, what makes the UK fans think he will with the new one's he buys ?

not a one...not a SINGLE defense in the SEC can match-up with the home run hitters that the Hogs have on offense....its going to be a great year in Fayettenam :nana: :nana:

each member of the set was asked to name their "darkhorse" for the Heisman trophy....when it came to Andre Ware, he said, "we all know about Mallett and how well he spins the ball, but let me tell you about a surprise, also from Texarkana, Mr Cobi Hamilton is having a fine Spring and could very well push his Quarterback for top honors as the best player in the country"....Andre giving some deep felt love for Cobi Hamilton ....Hamilton will be unstoppable this season...6'4" 230 lbs 4.3 forty and has hands as soft and supple as a baby's butt....look out Atlanta, the Hogs are coming to town come December

uh, back to back close wins v UK ? the Saturday win over UK by the Hogs was a RAZOR THIN 10-1...get your facts straight
re: LSU choked in 2007, True or False?
Posted by HogtiedXX on 4/4/10 at 5:36 pm
check the game stats on the UA v LSU game in 2007...the 3 OT game....and I think you'll find that LSU was flat out lucky to have even been close in that game....only Houston Dale Nutt's inferior coaching kept LSU in the game

ol' TJ may better 'shore up' his own house of glass before he starts throwing stones at Huggy Bear
re: So why does LSU have much less show up for the Spring Game?
Posted by HogtiedXX on 3/31/10 at 5:39 am
simple, people in Louisiana actually have lives outside of LSU football...the GUMPS have nothing else....exhibit (A) LINK enough said
re: Florida and Bama...honest opinion...

the SEC West in 2010 runs through Fayetteville/Little Rock, Arkansas....you guys can focus on UF and the Gumps all you please, but the "come to Jesus" meeting for the LSU Tigers takes place two days after Thanksgiving when my Swine will be playing for an undefeated regular season in Little Rock

quote:surely you jest, how many threads have been put forth about Ranaudo and when he's going to return and how much better LSU will be when he does....try and run that by the Ole Miss and Miss St fans about how you guys haven't whined about Ranaudo not being able to pitch, I'm sure they'll believe it....but as for me, "that dawg just won't hunt"
we haven't been complaining about losing the best pitcher in the league the past 4 weeks

thanks very much to John Smyley, the Saturday pitcher for the Hogs last weekend getting a blood blister on his pitching hand....the Hogs were in complete control of game # 2 until we had to pitch some unproven middle relief....then came walk after walk after walk sprinkled in with a few hits and the secure lead fell to a 7 spot for LSU in the 7th inning...Hogs, LSU and UF are the superior teams in the SEC this year
re: When I think of Arkansas Baseball....

what's this above me ? an actual comment from the peanut section of SEC sports, an AU fan....dude, you guys won a single game Friday night, no need to think you belong with the big boys

don't know which way your field points...but you get the drift
re: No other coaches in SEC like Van Horne...
Posted by HogtiedXX on 3/19/10 at 10:38 pm
this trash comes out ONLY after an ARK win....which is not that often in this series as of late....anyway, just the way it is....most LSU baseball fans are the best, there are a few, as at any other school, that just can't help but tug on Superman's cape....like the guy who started this thread

did the big German (Eibner) send a couple out at THE BOX tonight ? I heard the second one landed just north of Thibodaux
re: AR-Kansas Right Fielder

quite to the contrary, I lived with a graduate of LSU in Thibodaux for 3 years and I realize the passion LSU fans have for sports and the women have in their beds...best thing about Louisiana

LSU baseball fans are a unique bunch....you guys do know your stuff....no problems...its just that I've lived in south Louisiana (Thibodaux) and been to football games at Tiger Stadium, and its quite a different crowd there at night, especially after the Tigers lose in 3 OT's

is "why don't you cry about it" the absolute best you can come with ? at least the other guys talked a little smack, the "why don't you cry about it" sounds like something a single digit aged female might say
