re: Apparently it's safer for the rap culture in South Korea

quote:Across the country? Sure.
It didn’t happen in a year here. It took 30+.
But rap culture instantly turned neighborhoods into trash in larger cities decades ago.
Now take that whole culture and transport it into South Korea. It'll become trash in a week.
I was happy Orange Man was elected for a second term. Unfortunately, he's pissed it away with a loser effort in Iran.
quote:I couldn't do that job.
It takes a unique breed of individual to devote his life to serving others in their darkest times and all that goes into it.
But, I remember when my Dad passed, the funeral home director took us into his casket showroom and made sure to softly point out the nice steel casket for 15k that was positioned to where it's the first thing you saw when entering.
They are certainly vultures that are trained to present themselves as sympathetic.
All I'm gonna say is the book and movie are both entertaining, HOWEVER, the author sure remembered a lot of detail for being in the middle of a firefight for a long period of time. I personally believe there's quite a bit of bullshite in the book.

I have an idea. Let every rapper and their fan bases move to Korea.
Then provide a 'safe and clean' report in a year.

And on today's episode of First World Problem,
quote:
I definitely judge people who say "do what now" when they didn't hear you the first time as being on the slower side and also the less emotionally well adjusted side, because only mentally slower people and adult children ever say it

I don't have a crystal ball on how it will end, but so far it seems like a mess.
quote:Throw her big arse overboard and let the ocean deal with her.
Welp she’s getting kicked off the cruise. Good focking riddance
quote:I wasn't sure what she said at first but after hearing her repeat it 37x straight, I realized she was saying whasup.
WHASUP?!?

I miss seeing a cool VHS or DVD cover and then reading the back to see if it's a movie I'd like. Of course I'd see if it was rated R for nudity.

Rumor is he may have laid hands on coaches/players........more than once. The players on the team apparently had enough and agreed with the coaches that he needed to go.
re: Will Kid Rock jump into Michigan Senate race now?

He can't win in Michigan if he campaigns as a socialist. He's going to run as a capitalist - but the people funding him are socialists and communists.
If he wins, he'll do as he's told by the socialists and communists.
Oh yeah, he's a Muslim too.

Iran will break the "deal" again. Then it'll break the next one. And the next.

We just returned from Disney World for five days. Stayed at Pop Century.
Overall, A+ experience.
Yes, it was hot, but we went prepared. I carried the backpack cooler with water and luckily all the Lightning Lane bookings fell right into place. We got to ride everything we wanted and rode most of the major rides twice. The only time we had to wait was for Rock N Roller Coaster (it was down all the way til 1pm) and the second time we rode Tron and Guardians. We spent very little time waiting thanks to Lightning Lane. An underrated tip: use AI to assist with strategies.
We also stayed at Pop Century and it was an excellent experience. The Disney bus for Animal Kingdom/Magic Kingdom and the sky liner for Epcot/Hollywood Studios worked out very well. Buses flowed in and out quickly and we didn't have to wait long at all.
The four of us had an absolute blast. It was a little pricey but we spent about the same for a Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge trip three years ago. It was nice going somewhere that was always clean, friendly guest service, knowledgeable workers (I NEVER had a staff member say 'i don't know' when asking a question).
I don't like Disney's political stances but I will say that with the money you spend there, you definitely get your money's worth at the resorts and parks.
