How are people picking Ole Piss? They are down right terrible. Take off your SEC Homer glasses, Fresno will roll them.

Any Bama fan that thinks we will not drop off on both O and D have their crimson colored glasses on.
What we did this year was special and lucky. You look at the injuries we had and none of them were major. Plus they happened at time in our schedule when we could afford to sit Andrea and Cody.
Losing a 3rd year QB is going to be HUGH in terms of experience and game management. Will McElroy be better than JPW? Who knows, and nobody can say that he will with the limited time he has been on the field. That is one thing that I wished Sabana would have done more this year was play in McElroy in the 4th quarter more. McElory backed up Chase Daniels at Southlake in TX and wasn't rated that high cause he only got to play his Sr. year. But in that Sr. year he threw for over 5000 yards something like 47 TD's and ran for another 800 yards and 12 TD's. Yes I know that's high school but he can play. Breaking in a new QB in the SEC will always have it's bumps. Look around the league this year and that is the major reason the SEC sucked so back.
Losing Andrea and Caldwell with hurt too. Bringind in supoosedly "stud" new guys is great but you can't replace chemisty on the Oline. Sure they will mesh together as the season goes on but it's a wait and see process. Especially one being a true freshman.
Losing not only 2 OL, we lose two SR. TE in McCall and Walker that were HUGH in the blocking for our dominate running game. Again 3 year players that are hard to replace right away. Yes he have Smelley (Soph), Peek ( GA Tech Transfer JR.) and possibly Preston Dial to replace them but they are an unknown. Smelley played at little this year but not much on blocking downs.
Defense you really can't replace Mt. Cody. Sure Darieus filled in nicely but he isn't the force that demands double teams every play that he is in there. Josh Chapman is good too but he still gives up about 60 lbs from Mt Cody. Plus if Murphy ever gets in school he can fill help fill that void. You can't replace Rashad Johnson. Yes you can put a body in there but you can't replace the leadership and the knowledge of the schemes from the lineman to the LB's to the DB's. Woodall is a hard hitter but don't know if he can lead like RJ did. We can replace Greenwood. He wasn't great but he was consistant. I think there are better talent behind him in Billingsly, Harbin, Davis and possibly Talbert.
Either way the futre is brighter for Bama than it has been in 10 years. Saban should bring in another top 5 class the way it is shaping up.
I can see us going 8-4 or the best 10-2.

Saban didn't have the athletes last year to really deploy the packages he's known for.
he had the athletes. they were just young
No he didn't. Hell half of them quit on him during the second half of the year.

Yeah the Auburn or Bama game wasn't close at all.

If you like college football a lot and like to watch any game then get it. Also, if you gamble...get it. I have had it for 4 years now.

First off let it die. You have a good coach.
Second, since you brought it up...Saban had to deal with DiNardo's players while Les got to play with Sabans. Which would you prefer?
