So oddly enough this came up today to me, in 213. Me and my 9 YO enjoying the game but the armchair coordinator behind us kept acting like he was reading the defense pre snap. Fine, he’s drunk, whatever. But when Lacy dropped a pass in the end zone he lost it. Wasn’t just “WTF” but more punching air “frick you Lacy! You’re a fricking piece of shite!!” Etc etc. On and on.

Look, I don’t pretend that bad language doesn’t exist to my kids. Marines (my background) curse worse than sailors. But I control it around my kids.

In my case, I could see my son looking at him and then me. I just said very clearly something to my kid like “yeah I hear him. Remember when I told you that some people aren’t mature enough to control their language? Those are the idiots in this world you should ignore. They don’t deserve to be heard.” I turn to see if he heard me. He was looking at me but didn’t say anything.

Again, I get that random bombs get dropped, don’t care. But it was excessive and until someone says something they’ll think their behavior is cool.

Why would she push Angel…she didn’t start the fight. I went back and watched it and Johnson pushed first, then got wrecked. Think that’s a bad take by KM.

I don’t get people taking up for anyone from either side honestly. They all acted like ignorant uncaged animals and should be called out for it, color of their jersey aside. I do agree that the refs are complicit and shouldn’t have allowed to it get to that point though.

After Kling’s steal at 2nd (which wasn’t close IMO), we were being rowdy with the replay jokes…to include yelling they should challenge the final out since it could be a game changer, etc. Some Rice fans thought it was funny, the rest just looked cold. Beer kept me warm though. Good game.
