To me, contraband is the better layout but I just played Saturday and they’re fighting something on the greens. Only nine was bad but you can tell they’ve had issues with the summer weather.
That said the National is not worth the cost and I’d rather Contraband any day of the week....

Played maybe a month ago and it was rough. Spots in fairways with no grass, sand spots on the greens. Was very disappointed in the course being that it is only a few years old.
It was through a pretty rough drought but they make sprinklers for a reason. ...

Like others said, windy and rock hard greens.
Unfortunately a lot of the greens are built up too so not the easiest to run something up there.
Anyone know if the pro shop is open? Will be playing g Saturday. ...
