A game is 4 quarters
Sure, when the refs aren't doing a little home cookin'. When the refs are giving the home team favorable spots, the game is as long as they need it to be to produce the desired result.
That's why LSU's 2007 title isn't legit.

And that didn't stop us from beating your team, either.
Florida beat LSU up and down the field that year for three and a half quarters. In the end, the refs gave LSU the victory by adding an extra yard to a 4th down, Jacob Hester carry that was stopped short.
Without the zebras in your back pockets that year, you lose to Florida and never even sniff the title game.
That's why both of your supposed titles this decade are kind of a joke.

Recruiting and has a shot at.
No, maybe you should pay attention, dumbass.

I bet ESPN, Scout, and Rivals are just stepping over each other to have you do their ratings for them.
"Get that USC homer Ruffalo on the phone, Jack, we don't know where to rate these linebackers! Ruffalo's got all the answers!!"
"There's no need. I already know what he'll say. Just rank the guys Pete Carroll is recruiting and has a shot at 1, 2, and 3!!"

Florida would have arse-raped USC in 2006 and 2008. If Sam Bradford couldn't get it done, there's no way in hell Mark "Dirty" Sanchez would have.
USC might have gotten it done against LSU in 2007. LSU was defensively-challenged that year. Then again, with a loss to Stanford, I'm not convinced the Trojans had much heart that year.

Just sayin. Everyone is acting like this kid is the next Rey Lewis or something. Just adding a little perspective
Right. If this kid were headed to USC he'd be all-world, but because he won't leave the state of Florida his recruitment is in need of "perspective".

Reports of Luc to FSU may be erroneous. Not all Gator insiders are uniformly confirming this, and even some FSU insiders are outright denying it.
Stay tuned...

Oh really? A rare metal that requires extreme effort to get it from mountain to hand is only worthy of the same kind of trust garnered by dollars infinitely printed by government whim and machines?
Yeah, that sure makes a ton of sense.

I bet you would have said the same thing after Michigan hammered Florida in the Citrus after the 2007 season.

It happened, and it's going to happen again. You should enjoy seeing greatness when it happens.

Again you'd be wrong. Berry's top 5 included: Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, USC. How do you figure he would have picked Florida if they didn't even make his top 5.
Berry probably had that top 5 at a time when it couldn't be seen the type of defense Meyer was building at Florida. The Zook players that Meyer used to beat Ohio State were on their way out and the nucleus of the current defense - the 2007 recruits - were in Berry's same class.
Seriously, let's pretend you are the best defensive back in the entire country, can spend your next four years starting at any school in the country, and you have the benefit of a crystal ball to tell you the future of each program. Would you really look in that crystal ball and go to Tennessee to lose at home to teams like Wyoming, or would you head down south to become the face of a dominant, national championship defense?
I don't know about you, but I would want to be a part of a winning, successful program. You only get to do it once.

I'd rather fart in a windstorm and run around in a circle trying to create a shite-air-vortex.
Investing in the stock market and investing in gold are two, completely different types of investments that can serve often different purposes under varying market conditions.
You know this and I know this. So why engage in brainless schmuckery?

This is pure entertainment. We have a Fed-loving banker trying to discredit gold as a store of wealth, and using skewed statistics to do so (hey, let's pick 1980 of all years to judge the performance of gold against the USD!!).
About as disingenuous as fishing a turd out of a toilet and pretending it's a Snickers bar.

Monte Kiffin is slumming in Knoxville, just there as a figurehead to help his career-challenged son find some success.
With Heater the proof is in the pudding. He developed Florida's young secondary into the best in the country. Turned a freshman corner into a shutdown corner inside of a single season. And again, Eric Berry would have played for and won championships at Florida. At Tennessee he's going to spend his illustrious career getting beaten like a drum.
If Berry could do it all over again I think we both know he would have chosen Florida.

Right, and we'll see that regret in droves after he's drafted in the top 5 next year.
Berry would have been a top 5 pick at Florida as well. Not only that, but he would have received better coaching under Chuck Heater (the coach who turned Haden, Jenkins, Wright, and Black into Sam Bradford's worst nightmare). Not only that, but he would have some championship rings and the experience of playing on the biggest stage with the best.
Tennessee is the fat chick in poor ol' Eric Berry's football closet. Just sayin'.

Eric Berry is the prideful guy who three years ago married what is now a fat chick. He won't admit he made a mistake, but he knows he did. Next January, when he sits down to watch Florida play for it's third title in four years, it will be like watching a porn movie with chicks he could have had.
You can bet your arse he regrets it.

MJRuffalo is deathly afraid of seeing his Trojans embarrassed in the Rose Bowl this season. I mean, really, Aaron Corp? Are you kidding me? Florida has the best secondary in the country. The poor kid would spend the entire evening running for his life.
USC 2009 vs UF 2009 would look very similar to OSU 2006 vs UF 2006. Meyer would have to shut his offense down in the 3rd quarter to avoid being accused of running it up.
