That’s correct. He’s my cousin. He was doing the games for something like only $35 per game. Just a little something to compensate him for his time. He mostly did it for the joy of being involved with LSU baseball. He was cut loose to save money in the budget.

its actually PBP : "Play By Play"
I thought that by now, most everybody knew that the BPB is the tradition now. It started as a typo, but the guys doing the Play by Play, usually now abbreviate it as "BPB" as is the new tradition since the typo.
Enjoy some "BPB" (or if you insist, "PBP:) and some good Tiger baseball.

I know the Wilson family. They are great people. Brady would definitely entertain an offer from the SEC. He was a classroom Sr. this year and graduated, but he will have one more year left of eligibility due to the COVID year.
re: Hypothetical scenario: if you weren’t an LSU fan, who would you be a fan of?

I guess Kansas State. I've had 3 cousins play for them over the years. The Bill Snider years were great for them. Still, for being a program located in the middle of nowhere, they always stay pretty competitive in football and basketball.

Additionally, we have friends in Colombia and Argentina. They see where the inflation being experienced around the world, first started with Biden. They have all been pulling for Trump too.

We have friends in Cuba. They are ecstatic! They see that their only real possibility of freedom is to have an American President that will NOT capitulate to their Communist Party. They also see that Trump has a sympathetic ear to the Cuban people as a whole, as he has paid good attention to the Cuban Americans in S. Florida.

re: Married men of the PT - would your wife have to lie to you about voting Kamala?

I couldn't imagine having a relationship with a wife who would have to lie and conceal things like this from me. What kind of relationship or marriage would this be?! You can't be open and honest with your spouse? This would be the sign of the ultimate poor relationship. What other secrets would be kept?
Fortunately, my wife is super MAGA, and is as politically involved and motivated as I am.

A year before the draft Curiel was all but gone, don't know what the scouts didn't like to make him drop but this was huge to get him to campus
I don’t have a link, but I think I remember reading something along the lines of that the scouts wanted to see him add a little more muscle in the offseason between his Jr yr and Sr of HS. But I think he came in still looking thin… what the scouts thought might be a little physically underdeveloped, and that was their concern. But from what I remember, there wasn’t a concern about his play nor his other attributes. He didn’t regress at all as a hitter, fielder, speed, base runner, etc. Someone like Project could elaborate more. I don’t claim to be an expert in this area.
We were lucky to get him to campus though, and I think he’s already showing to overall be a pretty smooth player.

Berry has finally been hitting like he was expected to. He hit .173 in April and .138 in May bringing his batting average through the first 2 months of this season to .155. From June to present he has hit .304 and raised his season batting average from .155 to .238
Yeah, for sure! That's why I had noted that he's finally coming around. It's been great to see, for sure. Berry is also a great dude... he talks to my kids after the games; signs balls, etc. He hangs around and signs for everyone lined up by their dugout.
It's just that I was pointing out how difficult AA ball is. It's entirely different from SEC baseball.

I believe AA baseball is equivalent to SEC baseball.
AA is a completely different animal. I bring my kids to Pensacola Blue Wahoos games. Tanner Allen (from Miss. State) plays RF. If you remember, he was a hitting machine at Moo State. These past two seasons, his batting average has hovered around .220, and the Wahoos just released him about two weeks ago.
Jacob Berry also plays for the Wahoos. Just until recently, he was batting under .200. He's struggled a lot with pitch selection. I'm confident that he will figure it out, and he's already shown a lot more plate discipline this past month, but AA is a tough league.
About a month ago, we got to see Rhett Lowder (you know, the guy that was the pitching phenom at Wake Forest). Well, he was coming in with an ERA near 6, and he got rocked for something like 7 or 8 runs within the first 4 innings.
AA is pretty high level baseball. It really starts to separate the men from the boys.

Yeah, I was at their game on Saturday night, but of course, he had not gotten to the team yet. Man, I would have loved to watch him play. I've been regularly checking their roster over the past few weeks, anxiously anticipating this. My son and I will be excited to finally watch him play.
Congrats Tre! The road to The Show continues for him. Exciting to see!

I’ve been anxiously awaiting this! We attend many of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos games and the Montgomery Biscuits (the AA afíliate of TB) are in our division.
Tre is our absolute favorite baseball Tiger of all time, and I’d love to catch a few of his games on his path to The Show.
re: 5 WR Sets, who is on the field?
Posted by DocRock on 8/7/24 at 2:43 pm
This doesn't answer your question directly, but I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of formation utilizing the 3 TEs. Say its 3rd and short or medium, and having two TEs, and then a third TE as sort-of the traditional "H-back" and putting them in motion (for various reasons). This could really stretch a defense with a threat to run, or have these TEs stressing the D to cover them in these situations.
Its fun to think about and discuss.

No, you should definitely go to Spain. My wife and I went this past September, and we had the time of our lives! The food, culture, history, architecture, museums, and natural beauty of the land, were all amazing. We hit Barcelona, Sevilla, Malaga, Granada, and Barcelona. It made me want to move there!
When you meet some locals and start talking to them, you get a strong sense that they value their Christian / Catholic heritage, and they do NOT want Sharia-seeking Muslims coming in to change things.
