I bought an 06 Silverado 6.0 last year with 180k miles for $4200 from an auction. Truck would be fine for a teenager. I spent a couple hundred in repairs that I did myself. Easy to work on and parts are easy to get. Tell him to look up a YouTube video when he hears or feels something off and fix it.
I guarantee you he doesn’t have 405k miles on the original plugs.

The train crew is dead because of the stupid truck driver.
The railroad I work for had an incident where a a guy hauling a d11 dozer moseyed up to a crossing and centered it about 30 seconds before train arrival. He was trying to raise the trailer on top of the crossing. Derailed the 2 locomotives on the head end and 16 loaded coal cars behind it. Dude was lucky he the crew survived.

I got into the mid 70s on Tuesday with about 60 hours of playtime and haven’t played since. For reference I have 4K hours in POE1. I usually put several hundreds of hours in each league launch over 6-8 weeks. I have no plans to come back to POE2 in its current state. I think once more people get to the endgame they’ll quit.
Maps are huge with few mobs and you end up backtracking in every map. The 1 portal map feels awful with monsters having on-death effects and random off screens. I got to T7-8s with capped res, Monk defense ascendancy, and Evasio/life on all gear and I’d still die to a random one shot. I wanted to beef up my character but since they “dumbed” down the game there aren’t any defensive layers to get. There’s almost no defense in the tree. Fortify, phys damage conversion, spell suppression etc. don’t exist in POE2.
I think the campaign feels like a hardcore version of D4 which is I believe what they wanted. The endgame is terrible right now. Also they somehow made Ascendancy trials worse than in POE1

Yes. As someone who grew up on D2, I was surprised when one of my friends said he hated D4 and wouldn’t play POE 2 because of the camera. But I guess it’s not too uncommon.
Early access is in 5 days, not 2 weeks.

I’m somewhere between keto and carnivore for the last 2 weeks. Basically eat 2 meals a day, one is bacon and eggs or steak and eggs and the other is whatever I can get that has near 0 carbs.
As a Type 1 Diabetic, I should have been doing this my whole life(diagnosed at 5, 34 now). My time in blood glucose range is 95% over the last 2 weeks. Before it was always under 50%. My last A1c was 7.3 about a week before I switched my diet. I’m hoping to get in the 5’s for the first time in my life in 2 months.

It’s a good day to be a mom and pop mechanic/transmission/etc. shop. More people are going to be forced to fix old cars rather than buy new.

He’s pitched on 5 days rest twice this year. He’s going to pitch on 4/5 days rest for the rest of his career. Not saying he will or should pitch Thursday but acting like it’s impossible is silly.
