Some people like to try stuff on in person to make sure it fits or check out the quality.

That's why and the only way I'll ever buy anything. No mail order at all.

Besides the specialty shops, most of the department stores in NOLA/Metairie carry LSU gear.............

This,Thanks for being a sane voice.

There are so many juvenile dumbasses in this board, its aggravating.

I live in the Northwest and when I get a chance to come to town I like to buy something as a souvenir.

Unlike some of the shut-in's I like to go to a brick and mortar store.

Suggestions for buying LSU Gear

I have a reason to visit New Orleans after 13 years, can you all suggest a good retailer where I can get Quality LSU Gear.

Thanks in advance!
I was in the stadium too, and the feeling was electric.
Nice post!

Don't just blame O, Miles sucked balls to

O and Les are not in the same league.

Les was a winning coach in a major program before getting the LSU job.
He maintained excellence for a good part of his tenure.

Whereas O's accomplishments are as follows

failure at Ole Miss

dubious practices followed in recruiting at USC

Instigated Phelon Jones to tag LSU along until signing day

Negatively recruited against Joe McKnight

He never loved LSU

The fanbase is not turning against the team, Its against O ,Fat Goebbels and the incompetent AD.

I'm actually not kidding at all. While I know it's super easy to read the board here and write up a juicy article with unnamed sources (posters) and kind of awesome that at least this story is national sports news, there really IS a deeper story behind all this that would be MUCH more important for some enterprising journalist to go and dig into. Back room deals, multi-million dollar contracts, political shenanigans, etc.

Yes, I thought of this. There is a bigger story here.
someone needs to dig deeper and do some journalism work.

All that can be done from now until nsd is pray.

re: When did O start "loving LSU?"

When he figured out the LSU AD can be taken for a ride.
and he can control the narrative.

He has played this to perfection, I just can't believe LSU would allow themselves to be manipulated like this.
I am a graduate from LSU from 2004.I am a bit of a bandwagon fan as i got to be there in campus during the Glory Days.

Initially when Les came in, I equated his "Let her rip" video and expected that this guy is going to field a fighting team that will punch above its weight.
In 2005 I gave him a pass for the home loss to UT after Katrina, then
came the loss to Auburn,It was a game in which play calling was unnecessarily conservative and we lost it.
I remember the game so well, because i have been made to endure the same feeling year after year.

There have been changes in personnel,staff- OC,DC.
But this has been a recurring phenomena.
As LSU faithful you have all endured the same.
Somehow Les has able to survive by getting good talent and ride on the coattails of "once in a generation talents" like PP,TM,Claiborne,Dorsey,Hill,Landry, etc.

I know a lot of Tiger Faithful have felt this crushing of their passion by the Head Coach and this is the primary reason he has to be let go. LSU football has been a discombobulated mess for a while and we need to bring in a semblance for functionality.

As the fan's how can we influence the board, I, as most of you love the fall season for the prospect of watching my favorite team in all of sports play. And year after year since 05 that passion has eroded.

I am sorry about giving a long prelude before getting to the crux, here it goes.
As stakeholders of LSU, most of our stake is only the passion. We should be able to influence the decision making to a certain degree and be ready to do that.
Some of the things that have come to my mind are
1.Not filling up the stadium
2.Abstain from watching the game
3.Emailing the board of the displeasure, if you have a direct contact
4.Keeping the noise level high in the media by calling into radio shows like Hanagriff and Nola.com chat rooms.
5.Calling into Les's Show.

In doing that we have to show utmost restraint and decency and not call names on Les,etc.
this is just a business decision where as stakeholders we are exerting our influence.

Any name calling, booing, etc is going to show the fans in a bad light. If you really care about LSU either leave early or don't go to games.Booing is very juvenile.

I know TLDR,but i needed to put my two cents over there.

I like most of you on this board am tired of the goof ups and lack of creativity in play calling and
poor QB development since 08.

Considering the contract stipulations I was wondering if it will be a good idea to bring in a young up and coming assistant coach like Dan Enos as a head coach in waiting until Les's contract runs out.

He can also serve as the sideline presence who can prevent the goof-ups like the Meerkat Offense, Multiple false starts, etc.

What are your thoughts?

I normally leave games as soon a the band does their pregame routine. I may stay and see the game now

No Need to be a Smartass!,All i am saying is as a fanbase we should quit the collective whining and analysing for one week and get behind our damn strong football team.
I have been one of those who has been critical of the coaches and playcalling. But on the greatest game of the season we should all get behind the team including the coaches, not question thier decisions but unequivocally support this team.
I won't be in the Stadium, but the ones that go there should be 100% behind this team and have thier back even during the times when there is not much to cheer for.
And please don't Boo!!
This is the game where all of us fans should do our part.
:geauxtigers:
There are very few stadiums,i will go even one step further and say places that have the mystique that Tiger Stadium has,Especially at Night.
I hope we win this game, that will just add to the Legend of the Death Valley!!
I have seen many old timers talking highly of the game between LSU and the USC(loaded with future All-Pro stars).
Do you sense a similar vibe going into this Game as that one.

re: I like smash mouth football

Smash Mouth football is good and all,but doing the same thing over and over again even when it does not work is STUPIDITY.
Case in point 21-0 and few more.
We have lost 4 great players on defense that went in the early rounds of the draft.
We have a freaking new QB,even Joe Montana can come in and start making plays.
Lets give some time for this team to gel and come together.
And to reiterate, lets wait till we lose before we start freakin out.
Saturday can't come soon enough!!

re: Kadron Boone

Posted by tiger1980 on 9/25/12 at 8:12 pm
Yep,Need to incorporate this kid more into the game.

Based on the one SEC team we played.
Ware should be the starting TB and Boone should be a starting WR.
I want the team to use this as motivation and slobberknock the Gators!!

I like LSU when everybody write them off!!,Come Oct 06 Herbie's going to pick UF,so is David Pollock and there is a good chance more pundits will pick UF to win. This is nothing new to LSU.
Les Miles and LSU thrive on being written off!!

and while you're at it ask him if he might can maybe kinda maybe not call offensive plays like each game depends on his life. k thanks

OK,I am going to call him and ask him about how he is planning to address the "Left Side Turnstile Syndrome"
and why Kadron Boone is not starting?
