Also Devin Sheerin (believe he's injured) and Dylan Thompson. And Dalton Beck hasn't been on the mound.

re: Opinion of the board on Greek life? I think it’s a mixed bag.

There's good and bad. It's a huge magnifying glass - you want to get involved in community service/school/network for the future, you'll have plenty of opportunities. You want to party/get drunk every night - same plenty of opportunities. Greek Life gets a bad rap because you typically only hear about the negatives - hazing, underage drinking, etc.
Personally, I enjoyed my time being an active member. Haven't really gotten involved in the alumni stuff in the 15+ years since I graduated. When my kids make it to college, I don't think I'd have a strong opinion either way if they decided to do it or not.

re: Braves are done, it’s over

You just need Morton and Fried to make it through the lineup twice and exit with a lead to be in a good position. If you can bridge to Minter-Iglesias-Jansen with a lead, I like the Braves chances.
But really depends on what offense shows up next two games.

re: I’m dumb. How is Skenes a pitcher, catcher and DH?

I don’t remember the exact details - but the DH has been burned at that point. Peterson was dealing and CPM decided to let him bat rather than bring a new arm in.

We just went through this with Austin Bain not too long ago.
The easiest way to look at it is to treat Skenes-SP and Skenes-DH as two separate/unique players. Basic sub rules apply from there.
Now, if he goes from a field position to the mound during the game - the DH is burned for the remainder of the game. He could bat as long as he is still pitching, but once a reliever comes in - that new pitcher would now be in the lineup. That’s how we got the Todd Peterson “I hit bombs” moment in the SEC tourney.

re: Uniform Talk - What are colors that you think fit together but we don't see often?

Those are god awful - but I do have to give them props for trying to keep the color scheme of the two combined schools.
re: Advice on negotiating more vacation time

We're not talking 8 weeks here - and it was more from their end to ensure I wasn't taking a step back in that regards.

I just accepted a new job in a different industry. Substantial pay increase (might be able to swing that TD premium membership now), and it was a very easy discussion to get the new company to match the time off I was getting from my previous employer of 13 years.

Who do you think takes Arcia's spot as the bench utility guy? Kramer Robertson, call Demeritte back up again, someone not on the 40 man at this time?

But there should be a rule that the colors contrast. Navy vs. black is not enough of a contrast.
Fully in agreeance.

Can't say I'm a fan of it - but the concept of opposing teams wearing contrasting colors doesn't appear to apply in baseball, especially recently. White vs. gray is the historical standard, but dark vs. dark has become more and more common.
re: 27-man post season baseball roster?

I think you're spot on or pretty close to it. Shaffer hasn't been that great - but doesn't hurt to have an arm to use in a blowout situation and save the other guys.
