re: Sold out already!?!

It’s different because we were terrible last year. The Steelers did during our peak run. I remember those frickers on the Thursday before the game all in the nice restaurants in their jerseys and mullets.
Sweeney has been interviewed by at least 5 teams over the past few years for HC spots. He’s next up. If we miss out, another org will benefit. Online folks overestimate the question of whether a situation is a “good job” for a rising HC hire. There’s only 30 of these jobs and these guys at this level are wired to believe they can win with any organization.
Rondo is a complete wildcard. He'd be interesting.
Ham is proven to suck.
I have no idea what Hetzel has done to merit consideration.

Sweeney is the only logical choice. He's basically what Thibs was when the Bulls first hired him--the defensive ace/top assistant on successful teams that has a lot of authority. And Thibs is one of his mentors. I look at these names and I absolutely can't believe this is even a question. Sweeney is on an entirely different tier than everyone else who has been supposedly a candidate for this job besides Mike Malone.
Definitely Sweeney. I’ve been saying since last year he’s the guy we need to bring in. True Xs and Os guy and hard-nosed culture setter. Paid his dues as an assistant. Perfect age (early 40s). Has coached stars from Garnett to Giannis to Luka to Wemby.

I know this won't be popular in here, and I hate the "That's All, Folks" farewell, but he was and most definitely, still is, the best player the franchise has ever had, If I had to rate them 1. AD 2. CP3 3. Jrue 4. BI 5. DWest DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!!
Wow. I didn’t realize Nico Harrison posted here
This and the Rockets game were absolutely wild. You could just hear how exasperated Joel is at the end of these games. I love how he and AD sarcastically talked about the intentional foul at the end of this game. Something like,

"They knew it was an intentional foul and they actually called it"
"Was he out of bounds?"
I would LOVE mediocrity at this point.
What's interesting is if Screamin A was announced as a candidate to run the New York Knicks, everyone would laugh their asses off and it would be totally unserious. And he's marginally more qualified for that job than the office of the president. For some reason now, we've been conditioned to view the presidency as an office that requires less serious credentials than running a basketball franchise.

Cool Runnings and Miracle are top 2.

But the lack of Blades of Glory ITT is upsetting.
Lookin like Robert Evans over here!

He is grateful "even for David Griffin who wanted to fire me" (said this in the interview)

Inadvertently just gave David Griffin the best PR he's had since he was hired by the Pelicans.
Malone would command a top 5 salary to come here. I don’t think Gayle has ever paid above the bottom 3rd

People will mention the retreads because they’re names we recognize. Here’s who I hope we get: Spurs Associate HC Sean Sweeney. He’s the top assistant right now for the Spurs. For the last several years he was the architect of the improved Mavs defense that helped that team make the leap to the finals before Nico nuked the team. He’s been getting interviews the last few hiring cycles. The Mavs have visibly declined from and Xs and Os standpoint since he left and the Spurs defense has shown improvement over last year. I know the personnel has impact but he’s been a respected defensive mind and respected by players at every stop. Spurs fans are thrilled with him and without him in Dallas, Kidd suddenly is looking way more vulnerable.

He’d be a bright intense young culture setter who can grow and grow with our young roster for the next decade.

Buy: Heat - Easy pick. One of my favorite movies of all time. Masterpiece
Rent: The Departed
Throw Away: L.A. Confidential

The rent/throw away choice was tough. What tipped it for me is I remember exactly how exhilarating it felt when I first saw The Departed in theaters as a new movie. L.A. Confidential is great but I saw it over a decade after it came out on a random evening at home.
Not since that incident at Big Beaver...

Opened this thread to see how many posts it took for someone to say this. Definitely the gayest movie I've ever sat through

As for shows--Righteous Gemstones has the worst male to female nudity ratio I've ever seen.
