I think the cedar is mostly for insect control, mostly tobacco beetles. That’s what I’ve always heard.

HEB ice cream is dang good. I really liked Blue Bell ice cream, just couldn't get past the way they ignored the health and sanitary issues at the plant. Seems like greed was far more important than the consumers health.

all breakfast foods and quesadillas are great on a flat top. Cheesesteaks are probably our favorite thing.

Ranch Water and a Paloma are great summer drinks. I like using the grapefruit Jarritos drink for the Paloma.

I found them at Sams a year ago, I’m in Texas, not sure if that matters. They were damn good coming off the smoker, they took a lot of prep work though. If you find them post up some pics when you finish them.
