College Academic Scholarships

Posted by chadzthename on 8/11/25 at 4:02 pm
I’m just seeking advice from those who may have recently or assisted other high school graduates with applying for academic scholarships. My oldest son will be graduating high school in 2026. He will graduate with honors and has taken the ACT and scored well. What is the best way and where can you apply for all the scholarships available to assist with tuition? Thank you all in advance!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Dogs like your Aussie are just hard to come by.

re: First Trip To NYC

I’m seriously contemplating on staying in the Secaucus New Jersey area and hitching a ride via bus (Metro fee for a week of unlimited bus/subway $34 per person for a week) for a 13 minute ride to most attractions we want to see/experience.

First Trip To NYC

Posted by chadzthename on 6/10/25 at 4:07 pm
My family and I are planning a trip to NYC next May for my son’s high school graduation trip. I’ve never been. We plan on seeing the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, new World Trade Center, Trump Tower, catch a Broadway play, eat at Joes Pizza, and etc. My question is, where is a safe yet decent place to stay? Hotel expense is hefty, but it’s a once in a lifetime trip for my family of five. I’m not familiar with the layout or what area to stay clear of and etc. Any suggestions you can pass on would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Podcast Equipment

Just curious about what is a decent brand of podcast equipment to buy. What are the recommendations of what equipment to buy and what to avoid that’s not necessarily needed. This is for a beginner. Thanks in advance.
Jesus was God robed in flesh. “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

Kamala’s Voice

Posted by chadzthename on 8/22/24 at 9:50 pm
Is it just me or every time Kamala speaks it sounds like she’s about to cry? Hearing her speak is just about as cringing as someone scratching their fingernails on a chalkboard!
Have at least two enduro batteries along with a charger that can charge two batteries at the same time. If your camera didn’t come with a cage get one (it’s an insurance policy). There’s so much you can do with a GoPro. Just go on Amazon and look at all the accessories you can get. Customize the way you want.
Just another reason I only buy vehicles out of town (Houston). So much more competition and salesmen are less of a hassle.
In Sean Hannity’s words “You sir, are a great American”.
It’s so nice to hear a coach speaking coherently!

re: Invitations For PS5

You send a request and whenever the PS5s are in stock invitations are then sent out to individuals to see if you are still wanting to make the purchase (a time frame to answer the invitation is in check as well).

Invitations For PS5

What has been the time frame for invitations sent to purchase PS5s? Have any of you experienced this?
No. If you do you’re automatically put under the microscope by HR. I’m too far along from starting retirement to jeopardize my career.
