1998 by far – Gorilla ball was still alive!
Brad Cresse – 29 HRs
Eddy Furniss – 28 HRs (won Dick Howser Trophy)
Trey McClure – 27 HRs
Team Total – 161 HRs
Tigers hit 8 HRs in first game in Omaha, followed by 6 more against MSU. Tigers went on to lose the next 2 games to eventual champion USC.
