They need to calculate exactly how much fraud they can document. Then that number needs to be equally divided by every citizen of Minnesota and the IRS needs to send them a bill for that amount, including liens on property to enforce payment.

$9 billion divided by 5.8 million residents is $1,551 per person.

We don’t care what they do about fraud, but we’re getting our money back. Let the people of the state pay for it.

Then apply it to every other state.

Shortsighted thoughts, that may be relevant for the next few years, but things change.

Two years ago you’d not have thought Canada would be cozying up to China.

What’s to stop Denmark from also buying into Chinese support and allowing them “mutual” access Greenland? China necpver does anything that’s not in their direct interest.

As I’ve said, Europe has a long history of bad decisions, including dragging us into war to fix their frick ups.
We control Greenland, we have a stable future. Denmark and NATO are far less stable an option.

Funny, China is cozying up to socialist Canada. What’s to stop them in the future from doing the same with Denmark?

Long term history has shown us Europe will do nothing in their or our best interests.

The Arctic is a hugely strategic area and Russia and China see the importance of Greenland.

Having it under direct US control averts their advances.

Never say never.

And who would be the one supporting Article 5?

The US.

Not Denmark, not Europe, hell they can’t defend themselves.

If we had control, they would never think of anything relating to Greenland.

But as it stands right now, there only that threat, and admins in the future might not choose to get the US in a shooting war to support Denmark.

Trump understands history.

Denmark can’t protect Greenland if China or Russia decide to take over part or all of the country. Europe also can’t protect Greenland

So in the end, they will, as they have since 1917, depend on the US to bail them out.

Instead, let’s buy it and China and Russia will never try to take ANY part of Greenland.
