Elliot’s in his own head. Needs to get out of it. Alan is a machine and proven he can make multiple drivers good. The other Hendrick cars are doing well too. And at least spell his name correctly next time!

Who strokes a check for federal taxes anymore? I efile and have the annual amount that I owe drafted directly from my checking account and pay quarterly through EFTPS.

We are rolling tonight. Just great to see them having fun and so many people contributing. Still not in the top tier but close.
Perfect tire strategy for Palou. The team is completely in sync. I want to see him win at an oval!

Larsons car was perfect for the long run. Peaked at just the right time.

Hate to say it, but Bubba is proving to be a pretty good driver this season.

Should’ve promoted Yuki and not Lawson.

I bought some choice top sirloins on sale at Albertsons today. Im throwing them on the pit Sunday and think they will be half decent for being cheap.

I thought this was a great race. I loved the different tire strategies that a couple of teams tried. I loved the finish. Bell just isn’t making any mistakes and Adam Stevens is locked in. Great setup for each track and making the right call every time.

No they don’t want to lift all boats. They want to lift theirs and only the others closely tethered to it.

They should want to lift all boats though. Jordan is good for the sport.

This is just a bad look for nascar. Jordan is good for the sport and is willing to spend money. His cars are performing well this year. I don’t understand what nascar is trying to accomplish. Well, I do. They want everyone to agree to their terms but don’t they realize a rising tide lifts all boats?

Just like he was rumored to not go this year because of all the pageantry but went anyway? FIA calls the shots and he knows it.
In the last caution there was essentially a 10 minute commercial break and I thought they cut the broadcast at some point. Once the long pro bowl commercial came on I thought what are they doing?! Did they end the race broadcast?

Just so much to unpack in a race like yesterday. How about BMW starting strong and falling off?
Having this on Peacock was horrible. Usually I can watch it on obscure channels but not this year. Nothing better than watching racing late at night and early in the morning. And no I’m not paying to subscribe to Peacock.

Acura jumping from 4th to 2nd in GTP in the last 20 minutes was incredible. Porsche had a great weekend, although the Green Monster underperformed.

Ford finished strong in GTD pro. Looks like all the money they spent on that car paid off.

Corvette had a pretty good weekend too. Funny seeing Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, and Mercedes all have bad weekends.

I feel like there were more wrecks and DNFs than normal. Seems like the track was pretty cold and dicey overnight.

Great way to start race season besides for the NBC fumble.
AR15. That’s what we need from him. Just has to be more consistent.

I actually had the crawfish bisque at Dukes in Denham last weekend. I just checked online and it’s on their catering menu. I used to eat it a lot as a kid but never get in BR. When I saw it there I had to try it. It was solid and well worth bringing to TN. It did have a strong crawfish flavor which may turn off some northerners but I thought it tasted like it was supposed to.

re: Baked ham sandwich

I decided to heat the ham up on a skillet with a little water. Then put mayo, grey poupon that we had leftover from a homemade salad dressing that my wife made, and pepper jack on the french bread. Toasted it for a couple of minutes then added a few purple onions, japs, and pieces of spinach. Then put 4 slices of ham over that. It was great!

Baked ham sandwich

I bought a fresh French bread from Albertsons and am trying to decide what to put on it with my leftover ham from Thanksgiving. I’m thinking of putting a little bbq sauce with some jalapeños (I love japs on sandwiches) but am undecided. Anyone have suggestions?
