I love it. We haven’t been the same since Dr Buss passed away. Next era begins now!
Honda dominating! Awesome race. Several big names with big wrecks again. Guys were hopeful they could make it on fuel but no one could push it to the end. Kirkwood deserved this one.

No rain so I can be outside all afternoon with my family!
Save Waymo! I rode in a few in Austin and they are great.

I was actually confirmed at the cathedral in downtown Baton Rouge today. I stopped going to Catholic school in 6th grade and didn’t get confirmed in high school. It was a beautiful mass.
Did we really not talk about anything in Detroit? Acura winning on Saturday with an awesome pass in such a tight circuit. Palou with a DNF for the first time in forever and the Indy 500 curse holding true. Kirkwood winning for the second time this season, this time with damage to the front splitter.

Overall, Sunday’s race was pretty good with no one in the top three ever having won a race with not all that many laps to go. Of course Kirkwood pulled it out but great to see different guys leading. That’s what makes Palou’s run even more impressive. He’s dominating in a sport that has the most even cars of any class of racing. Anyone can win any day….except when Palou is utterly dominating.

Yeah this is too late. I don’t know what nascar is trying to accomplish here. Saturday night or Sunday afternoon should be the only options unless it’s a three day weekend.

The cup cars need 100 more horsepower across the board. They handle too well now. Stock cars were never meant to handle this well. With the increased power though, we need thorough safety checks. Certain wrecks in this car have caused more driver damage than they should have.
Its easier to BBQ a ton of meat on my charcoal grill in the heat one evening and just reheat it in the microwave for a few days. With the water in the microwave its just as juicy as the first day!
First I don’t overcook my chicken. I put it on the hot side of the pit for a couple minutes each side then move it to the cooler side of the pit for 20 minutes while basting it in bbq sauce.

To reheat, I put it in the microwave with a decent amount of water sprinkled on top. I put a paper towel tent over it using toothpicks and flip it every 30 seconds.
I’m just grilling a bunch of steaks, chicken and sausage on Saturday. Steak Saturday night, making sausage poboys Sunday night and heating up the chicken Monday night.
Porsche! That was much better than nascar. Best race of the weekend.

BBQ: chicken, sausage, steak, lamb chops, pork loin stuffed with cream cheese

Sides: fattoush, potato salad, Brussels sprouts, grilled tomatoes and white onions cut in half, garlic bread

Elliot’s in his own head. Needs to get out of it. Alan is a machine and proven he can make multiple drivers good. The other Hendrick cars are doing well too. And at least spell his name correctly next time!

Who strokes a check for federal taxes anymore? I efile and have the annual amount that I owe drafted directly from my checking account and pay quarterly through EFTPS.

We are rolling tonight. Just great to see them having fun and so many people contributing. Still not in the top tier but close.
Perfect tire strategy for Palou. The team is completely in sync. I want to see him win at an oval!

Larsons car was perfect for the long run. Peaked at just the right time.

Hate to say it, but Bubba is proving to be a pretty good driver this season.

Should’ve promoted Yuki and not Lawson.
