Wake Forest: Linebackers coach Tyler Santucci has resigned and is expected to join the Texas A&M staff, Pete Thamel tweets. We can add that there have been whispers in the profession that linebackers coach Bradley Dale Peveto would not return at Texas A&M. Will update….

Well Played Sir
I just leave an alternative take here for all the non-right winger types...the entire piece is more well rounded and explanatory than that well-worn trope...

The Ringer

"2. Libtard ESPN got what it deserved! So goes the take bubbling into the feeds of media critics, and being shot from the elephant gun wielded by Jason Whitlock.

We’ve been here before, too. When the NFL ratings sank last season, it was all Colin Kaepernick’s fault.

One of the curses of living in interesting times (Donald Trump Edition) is that every media organization bears the mark of a secret political agenda, according to that one guy on the message board who has figured it all out.

Are ESPN’s layoffs the direct result of Bomani Jones having a particularly righteous night on the radio, or the network showing Michael Sam kissing his partner? No, no, no. Pierre LeBrun does not (as far as I know) wear a pussy hat.

If the take comes from someone who works for a competing cable sports network, be twice as skeptical.

“Is ESPN a liberal network?” is a legitimate and interesting question that deserves examination. But if you see someone saying ESPN got comeuppance for its “agenda,” they have, in nearly every case, just revealed their own."

Now everyone not named Alabama or Ohio State can stop smirking at our ineptitude and start worrying.

Should have happened 4 years ago.
Nice data collection. Thanks for posting it.

This sort of trend suggests the continued need to excellent recruiting and early playtime for Freshmen and Redshirt Freshmen...

Well played...lol
Outstanding and much appreciated...
gratuitous bump to promote facts over uninformed conjecture or cherry picking of stats...

and great hire!

Only thing I don't like about this hire is he will stay at LSU 2 years MAX with any kind of success. If he isn't successful, Miles isn't going to make a move on his buddy.

NFL coordinator coming in is nice but some guys can't coach college kids. Some OCs try to force their philosophy on these guys and it's too complex for them to understand with little adjustments to strength. That's what I'm worried about...

That's certainly a risk. Hopefully we'll get some assurance during whatever press is done. I don't like that he was interviewing with the Jets a few weeks ago, but perhaps he's decided to give college a try again. Hopefully he'll like it and we'll enjoy a quality innovative OC...

Sooo, he sucks?

Well...

During his 10 years as an offensive coordinator in the NFL, his average team points scored is 10th.

This suggests to me that this would be an outstanding hire...especially considering that he broke in two new quaterbacks during those 10 years...

So at least we can pretend the rant likes facts over unsubstantiated opinion...
