Trump supporters won’t get out and vote for traditional republicans. Unless the economy is absolutely booming and the Supreme Court rules against race based districting 2026 will be an absolute bloodbath.

Prices as a whole don’t down unless there is a massive recession or depression. The last time cpi was negative was in 2009 in the Great Recession. That is the only time in the last 50 years.
Some items can go down like oil, gas, interest rates but overall prices just go up. What is important is for wages to rise faster than inflation which is happening under Trump. It didn’t under Biden so people are still feeling that pain because of their lost spending power the last 4 years.
