RIP Sonny Kirkpatrick...SK Calls

Posted by WHAT on 2/11/12 at 9:34 am
My uncle, Sonny Kirkpatrick, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Uncle Sonny made SK duck calls from his shop in Haynesville, LA for many years. All of his calls were hand made and hand tuned. He was a bit of a legend locally and was always a larger than life charcter. We will miss you Uncle Sonny.

This is what I was being told as well. I didn't want to type it out in the event that it wasn't true. Even if true, it doesn't excuse Petrino from the way he behaved. The person I was arguing with is somewhat close to the Arkie program. Maybe I can give him the OP's letter to pass along to Petrino.

LSU fans and others believe that Petrino was upset about victory being secured. Some Hog fans insist that he was upset about some alleged classless action by Les and JJ. Any info on this alleged action?

Hog fans are not admitting that Petrino acted inappropriately without adding that he may have been provoked. I had an extensive argument with a Hog fan last evening after he insinuated that Les Miles and JJ are classless. I asked why he would make such a comment. He countered repeatedly that there are two sides to every story and Miles and JJ acted classless after the score provoking Petrino. This was reported to him by an eyewitness at the game.

I'm leaning towards chunking it to. I just picked the eggplants this morning and do not want to ruin the dish.

I really didn't want to go to the store. :banghead:

Try Sassy Jones BBQ Sauce if you get the chance. Someone brought this to the deer camp last season and it was the NICE!
Sweet Baby Ray's is always a winner too! [/img]

Tahini Question?

I am making baba ganoush tonigh. How long does Tahini last if kept in the fridge? I believe that the jar I have is over 4 yrs old. It doesn't smell rancid.

I love the stuff. Had it just yesterday on Tacos and it was better than any taco sauce I have ever had.
