re: At least McCaffery runs hard on every play

Sooooo Carolina is talking about trading part time RB McCaffery and picks to get Watson. I say McCaffery is a part time running back because he's only available part of the time.
And the guy he's supposed to be wayyyy better than just damn near single-handedly willed his team to a win and was named NFC Offensive player of the week.
But at least McCaffery runs hard....when he's not injured and able to run....but he might not want to run too hard because he might injure himself again.
McCaffery has maybe two years left in the league....but at least he runs hard on every play of the 3-4 games he's available to play.

Who is being intolerant? I gave my opinion on people making choices and what they should be prepared to deal with as a consequence of that choice. Or do you feel like only certain people have a right to make a choice? Otherwise please explain how the people you are referring to are intolerant.
It seems to me that you are the one who is intolerant of someone's choice because it might impact you in a manner that you don't want it to. That's a bitch move.

I say it's their choice. As with any choice, there are consequences of those choices.
Not vaccinated, don't run to the hospital if you get sick
Not vaccinated, be prepared to pay for your own hospital stay if your insurance makes a choice not to cover Covid Infections.
Not vaccinated, be prepared to find another job if your current gig decides to require workers to be vaccinated.
Not vaccinated, be prepared to be denied entry to businesses that require everyone to show proof of vaccination; it's their choice.
The anti-vaxxer are not the only people who have the right to choose.

re: For those of you who work for a company that mandated the vaccine. What did you do?
Posted by PurpleKnight88 on 9/10/21 at 10:43 am
Thanks for clearing that up. So the issue isn't really a "government overreach" or "government forcing you to take a vaccine". It's really more of the vaccine not having been tested long enough for long-term impact as opposed to the long term impacts of having caught and survived Covid-19.
So you are willing to play russian roulette with your child's life to scream government over reach when it isn't even about that since the government has forced people, including yourself, to get vaccinated in the past.

I never realized how many people home school their kids on this site. I say that because children can't attend school without government mandated vaccinations that pretty much everyone here has gotten at some point in your lives.

Good to know. I'll have to remember that next time BLM riots over a cop shooting
All she had to do was comply and she would be alive right now....in jail.....but alive. Oh well, she played a stupid game and won a stupid prize.

I don't get electric cars. Every automaker is doing this feelgood bs of claiming they're going all electric by 2030 or something.

4. We can't pull our heads out of our asses to decide what kind of power plants are safe to build (coal=bad nuke=war natgas=fracking) (TRUE ENOUGH)
5. Virtually the entire supply chain for batteries comes from unfriendly nations (70% from China so TRUE)
From start to finish it is a fatally flawed model. (FALSE).

re: Why did the new box get built so generic?
Posted by PurpleKnight88 on 6/22/21 at 3:21 pm
I always thought that the new Box was built the way it was with exposed beams and all was to make it easier to expand it at a later date. I never considered that it was designed that way on purpose.

Maybe consider creating a unique key using concatenate to combine employee ID number and the text you are referencing.

re: The Wildest BMW M5 Ever Created Is a Wagon With a McLaren V12
Posted by PurpleKnight88 on 10/8/20 at 7:22 pm
The BMW E34 M30 engine was virtually indestructible and very easy to work on. I had an '86 535, '89 525 and a '95 530. The 530 was a slug unless you had the 5 speed manual. BMW ended up giving all of the 530 owners a new engine because the original small Nikasil V8 failed prematurely due to the high sulfur fuel here in the US killing them. I think they replaced them with an Alusil engine.
I loved my slug 530. I had all the weight of the V8 with none of the performance of the 540 big V8.
