hey jbreaz10! I bet your glad your brother got redshirted! You plannin on playin baseball next year Josh?
I think the athletes should be able to do what they want...why discourage Chad Jones from being the next Bo Jackson? God blesses some people to be pure athletes like Chad Jones and Jared Mitchell. Chad Jones, could go either way. If he wants to play in the big leagues he can...if he wants to play in the NFL he can. Don't discourage that in my opinion

Next year will be the Darryl Surgent show from ASH. He may not have the typical size of top recruits, but then again neither does Brandon James or Chris Rainey from Florida. The kid is something special to watch and an unbelievable athlete.

hell yes...Manieri knows what he's doing too, going to put a good product out on the field and we should be in Omaha this year. Look for Ranaudo to be possibly one of the most dominant pitchers to ever come through LSU. The stadium has already helped recruiting a ton and will continue to do so. LSU baseball is headed in the right direction and will only continue to improve. Baseball is a funny game though, we are going to lose some tough games and fans won't be too happy but that's the nature of baseball I guess
No doubt best stadium in the country...I've seen it from the inside and it's amazing...still a lot of work to do though

effort is great, but in the NFL you have to be talented. Talent, knowledge, and leadership are the most important things a successful NFL QB must possess. Tebow has leadership, and could develope the knowledge. I just don't see the guy ever making plays against NFL defenses. The guy is strong, but doesn't have a canon. Do you see him getting a better arm in the next 3-4 years?? I don't think that will change. He may come into games and do some good things, but the guy just isn't going to be a franchise QB.

yes he can make plays against the SEC's best which has defenses that have very close to the speed like the NFL. I think the fact that he has worked out of the spread is why a lot of people doubt him, but he's also making throws against the most athletic defenses in the country which says that he's used to facing it and can compensate for his not so strong arm. His arm will not get stronger, but i think his determination and experience will help him a lot more than people think.

That being said, he's a hell of a leader and extremely motivated and if anyone will put in the time to improve their skills, it's Tebow

Me and a few other guys were talking about this yesterday...If I'm the GM for the detroit lions I take Tim Tebow with the number one pick. With the intangibles this guy brings he can single handedly change the entire organization. As for the people who say he won't be a good QB in the NFL, I hate to tell this guy he can't do something. This guy is a coach's dream because of the effort he puts in, his competitiveness, and his off the field work.
Intrasquad games will take place regularly and are open to the public if you want to go by and see the #1 team in the land.
I know this isn't the consensus opinion out there, but I don't want a playoff system. I agree that what happened this year with the big 12 south and with auburn a few years ago sucks, but I love college football for the simple reason that every single game matters. If we switch to a playoff system there will still be complaining about the 9th ranked team in an 8 team playoff, there will always be conflict. In the NFL you have games that are meaningless b/c they are out of division, or a playoff spot has already been clinched. I love the fact that because USC lost early in the year to an inferior opponent leaves them out of the BCS game. If you want to be in the big dance, win your games!! I know a lot of fans might not agree with me, but IMHO it's what makes college football better than the NFL.
