He was clearly possessing the ball in the air and was clearly not possessing it on the ground. Not sure about when his feet came down. That was hard to see.
The last call was bad too. The Miami guy did have the ball first but when they landed on the ground Duce was holding the ball and the Miami player no longer was.
Definitely true around here between various forums. I'd never imagined that so many men could be concerned with the WNBA. Most threads are both negative and racially charged.

Not just Mexicans. Latinos in general can always be found picnicking at city parks. Or if they own a house with a yard, that's the spot. It's pretty amazing.
There's absolutely pressure to assimilate. It's economic, not political. Living in Los Angeles I know so many first, second and third generation immigrants. Assimilation definitely happens.
That's harsh. I'm not a believer in this stuff but here's a real world example of how these things can work.
In 1970's Los Angeles most truck drivers picking up from the port were native born. Mostly white and black. They were also union. They made good money and could afford to buy homes in nice, working class suburbs. Then with massive illegal immigration, under Reagan I think, they were replaced - literally - with an almost entirely Spanish speaking workforce who broke the union and salaries fell essentially to minimum wage.
Then those same drivers complain that they are being taken advantage of, so they unionize. But then it became a mostly Spanish speaking union. They still don't make much and what was considered a good job is now still not much better than working at McDonald's.
So it can happen and the people being replaced aren't shite people.

You're conflating race and nationality.
It's not new for people to be here decades and only communicate in their native language, and historically especially true for women. It happened with Italians over 100 years ago. But the kids assimilate. That's what's important.
They are assimilating as much as previous generations. Likely faster.

Probably 10% but I don't stick around to see if they look satisfied. Usually I've already paid online anyway.
I didn't use to tip for takeout but started doing it during the pandemic and stayed with it. Pickup was all that we had out here for maybe a year.

USC shouldn't struggle. UCLA and the other UC schools have tough admission rules. They don't have the flexibility that you'd find in the SEC or most of the BIG.

While she's a bit beyond the pale, I kinda get some of it, but I don't agree that it's racial. I haven't read her work but it seems that cost and not racism would be the obvious reason that white paint became the most prevalent color for industrial painting. AI says that she mentions that in her book, but believes that it stayed prevalent due to racism.
But it's probably white people reading her book and giving her awards. So there's that.

My current PCP is Indian and he's the best PCP that I've ever had.
I wouldn't mind if we had more American born doctors, but ultimately I want the best doctor. I think that most people do.
