a link to what? you continually beating on JJ for his imperfections/mistakes? there isn't enough time in the day to find all those links.

Easy answer. Tell them to scroll through the pages and search for ANY title with the phrase "JJ, QB play, JL or Miles treatment of JL". Plenty of material there.

Not to mentiont he scoreboard is FULL of anti JJ stuff.

Thats the diff this year.. we've never been in a situation where weve needed qb play to pull a win out for us. Hey, we are lucky I suppose.... We have one qb that IMO isnt that type qb(ark 2010) and another that has proven he can get it done (Tenn and fla 2010).

Thats a completely BIASED statement given that you want to take situations where Lee came into a game against Tenn and Fla vs games where he CLEARLY struggled as a starter. On the flip side you want to take JJ's bad game or games and totally ignore games where he's come through and played a major role in us winning.

I get its your "honest opinion". Thats fair. But dont make a grand case or statement based on cherry picked data. Thats like saying a 20 year old boxer is a great boxer because he is undefeated with a 41-0 record. The problem is 30 of those fights were against guys in their 60's while 6 of those were against 11 and 12 year olds.

And as far as needing a qb to pull out a win for us.......I still say that JJ coming into the Bama game saved us. Why? Because there are two types of qb's in football. Those who manages the game and those who WINS the games. JJ managed that game by not doing some of the most stupid things in the most crucial of times. That whole entire game hinged on which team was going to make the critical error in the worst spots.

Bama's qb did, twice. JJ didnt. Lee would have cost us the game at some point if he had stayed.
Ive never played the first one.

However.........Uncharted 2 is PHENOMENAL!!

@justme

WOW. Those stats are by far the most damming. Why? Because those are against GOOD to GREAT Bama teams. Its clear that Saban and Kirby Smart smell blood in the water when they see JL on the field.

If it wasn't for JL we WOULD NOT BE 13-0. If JJ plays the WHOLE GAME in the BCSCG we in trouble. I don't understand WHAT JL did to get out of favor with LES.

You right........if it wasnt for Lee we wouldnt be 13-0. We would be 12-1 and POSSIBLY out of the national championship game.

If JJ plays the WHOLE GAME I like our chances a LOT better if JL plays a single snap against that Bama defense.

What did JL do to fall out of favor with Miles? Go back to the Bama game. It wasnt so much the fact he threw back to back ints. It was the fact that after Upshaw layed the WOOD to him BEFORE the Ints, he folded mentally. He wanted to avoid the hits. This caused him to either throw earlier than he wanted and/or throw off his backfoot.

Basically when push came to shove Lee didnt man up in the pocket. The game, the pressure, the moment got to him. You cant have a qb like that no matter how good a thrower he is.

qb p lay (regardless who was playing) hasnt cost us a game

It almost did in the Bama game.
Would you use the BCS system to

1. Choose your wife/gf? Why would the formula consist of? Toughness of schedule: who had the most work to do to look good in the morning?

2. What School you went to?

etc.
WR screens to Beckham/Shepard. Get them touches early and often. Make them a threat in the minds of the defense to give them more to think about.

Also the no huddle offense with 5 wide. Just completely spread out the field with JJ having the green light to either throw it or run it. Just keep the defense on its heels.
In the state of Alabama.

They havent forgotten what he did to Fitzpatrick. Believe that.
WOW. thats my dad's age. Should call him tonite. RIP man.

Definitely got to win it now.

re: Disappointed in anything this year?

My biggest disappointment has to be without doubt our own fans and I include myself in that as well.

We have one of the greatest teams in college football history about to win its 3RD crystal ball in the BCS era. Yet all we seem to do is argue and debate and whine about the most petty of things like a players feelings or throwing motions or Les handling certain situations.

Its like we're riding in porsce with the most beautiful woman in the world wanting do nothing but get naked with you in the hot tub. Instead of enjoying it we bitch and moan about how we dont like the color of the car. Dumb stuff like that all season long.

And then the booing by OUR fans against OUR players is truly sad. They are wearing our team colors and uniforms trying to win games. Yet we bash and trash them for ANY mistake they make.

So the biggest disappointment has to be we as fans of this team during their championship run.

I think Peterson suffered the most with the loss of Crowton. The style of offense we have now does not favor a guy like Peterson as much as what we had the last couple of years.
Then let the question be asked then.

Now that we have a second chance against Bama and after seeing both JJ and JL for 4 years, for better or worse, who gives us the BEST chance to win?

Even BETTER quesiton, We are down by 4 with 3 minutes to go on our own 20 yd line............who do you send in against that Bama defense to win the game? Why?
What would be badass would be if he went to New York and snatch the trophy from the winner.

Like a Kanye/Taylor Swift moment. Honeybadger style :spank: "GIMMIE DAT!"
Im sorry. But I dont agree with this whole conference championship thing.

The purpose of the BCS is to put the 2 BEST TEAMS in the NC game.

In my mind thats Bama and LSU.

Ive asked this question over and over again the last couple of weeks and I will ask again.

Name me 1 team in the top 25 Alabama wouldnt be favored over on a neutral field site. 1 TEAM.

If Bama and Oke St played Bama would crush them. They would disrupt and shut down their 1 dimensional offense and Trent Richardson would just pound them into submission. It would be a slow painful death similarly to what they did to Auburn.

Again, the 2 BEST TEAMS should play for the national championships. Not 2 conference championship teams who are good. 2 BEST TEAMS PERIOD.
They only mean something in regards to reputation.

Like right now in the eyes of voters.

We've had this conversation MANY times before. If you have 3 conference champs......a Pac 12, ACC and SEC champ go undefeated and you have 2 spots who gets in and who doesnt?

Now with the climate as it stands right now the SEC CHAMP has more weight due to reputation and the championship run/streak its on right now. So basically we are saying that SEC champion worth >>>> everyone else.

So it MEANS SOMETHING if we are determining who's record/schedule is stronger because the stronger conference or the conference with a reputation of providing strong teams will win out over those perceived as being weak or overrated.
Honorary starter? Seriously?

How many snaps does he get?

Does he get to throw? If so by the off chance he throws a pick 6 will it be worth it???
