I know this is an exercise in futility but....what "skins" exactly does Orgeron have on his wall as a HC? People are starting to act like he's f'ing Belichick around here.

Well we were told by a certain wannabe Head Coach that he would hire the best OC in the country and let him coach. So hows that working out?

Auburn and Clemson come to mind recently. Or should we just hide in the corner until Saban is gone?

It's a head scratcher, but Navy is not the pushover some here seem to think they are. Under Coach Niumatalolo especially, they have a way of making very good teams and coaches look worse than they are. I've been a season ticket holder at Navy for several years (of course I missed this one...) so maybe I'm just more excited over Navy's huge win than what it means for our coaching search at the moment. Plenty of time to figure that out.
I'd rather he picked a different team to look good against.....

Bottom Line: Actually, you are, literally, a moron. Please go back in to retirement.
And just for good measure, "Tiger Bait". Now GFY.

Even with the ups and downs of that 2007 season just hearing this song makes me think of Tiger Football at its finest. :geauxtigers:

Most current SEC teams heven't even done that.

WRONG. You do realize there were many media outlets trying to put USC in the Championship game last year instead of LSU
I do realize that many media outlets tried to put them in the BCS Championship Game. But they didn't. So they never got back to the top. What don't you understand about that?

Will USC be ranked ahead of UGA? Probably not. As quickly as much of the national media like to crown USC as the best, they are also pretty unforgiving when they lose. When they lost to Stanford last year they nearly dropped out of the top 10 (deservedly so), and never climbed back to the top.
In any case, it doesn't matter. LSU is in control of their destiny. We play Bama and UGA, so just win.

You've got to see the whole post. At the bottom, see where it says post edited? Since the 2nd poster said the Iron Bowl was a ways away, I'm guessing the original post said Bama or Auburn. Context clues...
I know what edits are, thanks. But most of them clarify the original post (Originally said Bama-Auburn, but meant Bama-UGA, or whatever). I am certainly not going to analyze every following comment to pick up the "context clues".
That said, yes, other SEC West teams losing does help LSU. Brilliant insight.

They're not playing each other, so pull for both if you want.
Huh? They are most definitely playing each other.

And just to clarify, you said it was a fact. So you are saying you can prove, without a doubt, that our QB's can't win a big game?

I have a clue. Try making your point a little better next time.

Wow! Really?! They just curb-stomped UCLA, a team that beat Tennessee, one of our precious SEC brethren.

We cannot win with these qb's. Thats a fact.
No it isn't, we have won two games with them.

Its one game and the first game!
Yeah, but its far from your average season opening "rent-a-win". Alot of eyes will be upon us, and even a close game could result in alot of negative press, which could affect our ranking down the road. The VaTech blowout carried alot of positive weight last season, this could be the opposite if its close.
Bottom line, we need to make a statement in every game this year if we hope to get the voters attention.

Okay..I understand what you mean...but obviously you guys know we've won 3 in a row...so 1 more would make 4..
That just kinda seemed like common sense to me...if you knew we won 3 in a row
Of course it made sense. Just messing around. Having said that, I wouldn't be so confident about your 4th straight FCS NC, just like most realistic LSU fans aren't expecting another BCS NC. You guys lost a lot as well, and I'm sure the rest of the FCS is tired of being kicked around.
I will only go so far as to predict an 0-1 start for App. St. Beyond that I wish you well.
