I went to that new brewery last week. Place is stupid. Owner is obnoxious.
Just the thought of seeing Adam’s stupid fricking face makes me want to murder

This is so true. Last time I was in BR I was hungover and ate the whole thing. Normally when I'm hungover I don't eat all day  :banghead:

I still don't think its the biggest rivalry in sports. Definitely, without a doubt, the biggest rivalry in college basketball
I'm not sure how I come down on this statement. Before I came to Duke I probably would have downplayed the Duke/UNC rivalry too. Having seen the way it pervades the entire Triangle, though, it seems feasible. And it certainly extends beyond basketball. Everyone knows Duke football is atrocious and there's not a lot to get excited about. That being said, I've never heard the student section cheer louder than when a score was announced that had UNC losing.
And for what it's worth, my good friend is an Auburn alum and he said Duke/UNC in Cameron Indoor rivals (and possibly even exceeds) every Iron Bowl he's attended. He says the intensity and tension is palpable. But I don't give a shite, screw Duke :geauxtigers:

re: Triple Option Package versus Bama

This is maybe the most absurd thing I've ever read. If we couldn't teach JJ Crowton's system I seriously doubt Les and Co. would try to spring an entirely new system on our boys with a month to go. We've won games by playing to our skills; to change that know would be stupid.

This was posted last night and lsumatt called it unverifiable speculation then too. Given his track record, I'm sticking with what he has to say.

In 2007, TN, FL, and UGA had this situation happen with equal conf records. TN went as highest BCS ranked team.
False, in 2007 Florida lost three games to SEC teams (Auburn, LSU, Georgia), while Tennessee and Georgia both lost two games. Tennessee had the head-to-head victory, giving them the SEC East.

re: Andy Staples says TM7 #1 as Heisman candidate

Also needs to have more success in disrupting the passing game, not just with deflections but with actual interceptions. Interceptions are perceived as the "sexy" statistic, more so than fumbles forced (IMHO), even. Not fair in the least, and it undermines the brilliance that TM7 has shown this year, but it's an uphill battle for him.

Do you really think every pass is SUPPOSED to hit the receiver in the numbers
Oh, come on, bro. By "in the numbers" I meant on target, i.e., in stride. FACT: when receivers are open, as was the case with OBJ TD reception and a few other either overthrown or underthrown balls, there's no reason for the receiver to have to elevate to make the catch. That's not me bitching about a TD, it was a great reception and an even better run after the catch, but I think we can all agree it wasn't the best pass Lee threw all night.

I hate the rant, but you can't deny that throws were wide today. Perhaps wind factored into it (I don't know, I'm not in BR to judge), but very few receivers were hit in the numbers, and there were more than a few underthrown balls. That being said, I'm more than willing to chalk today up to an anomaly given the better performances we've had in the other games this year. Next week vs. UF WILL be better :geauxtigers:

It's always a stop for me whenever I return to BR. Food is never bad and beer is affordable and a decent, if standard selection. Pretty much what everyone else said.
