re: Jamaica… safe off resort?

Posted by cajungoalie on 5/7/25 at 1:33 pm
No...why would you want to go off resort? Its worse than Scotlandville out there baw. Don't do it.

I'll add that the appeal of Excellence Oyster Bay is that it ihas it's own private beach as they own the entire pennisula, what that means is zero locals on the beach trying to sell you weed or braid your old lady's hair.

There's nothing remotely close to EOB worth-while.
Spent a week at Oyster Bay in November..it was awesome. Very laid back not crowded. Lots of space at all the pools. Not a young party crowd. very clean and good restaurants, we upgraded to the Excellence Club tho which is a little more expensive but worth it.

No experience with Sandal Ocho. I book oyster bay on word of mouth and Tripadvisor ratings.
Look, we’ve all pissed on a nice course, no issues with that…..But really how stupid do you have to be to do it on the most revered golf course on the planet. And then say if you had to do it over again, you do it the same way in a televised interview. Guess what buddy, you ain’t coming back. Stupid is as stupid does.
There's a dude on TikTok "trevchirps"...he's the worst, The most punchable face I think I've ever seen.
Agree....I support our guy, but seems like this could have been done differently and more effectively without all this carnage. Like maybe a little negotaition and patience (moderate) instead of scorched earth all at once.

That dude doesn't need anymore grief to sing about. We were about to head down, think we're gonna pass now, was really looking forward to this.

I have a 2000 xlt with 200k that's for sale, come get it!
They do this shite in travel ball...LOL in the SEC.
Excellence oyster bay jamaica is top notch...but "safe local town" off property is really not a thing in the carribean...
Truthfully, having the accused be a 13 year old (middle schooler) white middle class kid with a solid family likely made it much more gut wrenching than the real life 18 year old (adult) muslim dindu....sorry but true.

This was so hard to watch, but amazing..acting was top notch. Had to use subtitles tho, some strange language that part of th UK.

Mopar has buy 3 gut one for a dollar promotion going on now. Go online, pick the tires u want, get the qutoe off the website then contact Discount Tire who will match the price. I've done this three times without hassle and it save hundreds(like $300 if you are going with anAT tire for a truck)

You're welcome.

Travel ball was some of the funnest years with my boys...and I miss those days. My favorite thing in the world is watching them compete and improve. Most parents were cool and we've made some lifelong friends throught it.

So you can participate and teach your kid the true meaning of team, or you can be a dick and isloate...your kid will pick up on it and learn that its all about him.
My 10 year old was fishing one spring about 10 years back using hot dogs as bait. He had them in a ziplock bag and when he was done he put his tackle box away in his bedroom closet......with 4 hotdogs still in the ziploc. A couple months later there was a horrible smell coming from upstairs and we searched for the origin and discovered the ziploc, now with 4 liquified hot dogs, and a smell so bad that it's still burned in my olfactories.

So discoverd this dude a couple months ago and he is now my new favorite artist. He's closing at Hogs on Friday night and we are definitely going to check him out. Question is, General Admission ins $50 for Friday and he is all we are interested in seeing. There's 2 other acts on his stage before him, what are the crowds like for this event, and expectation of getting near the front of the stage, etc, get there early, set up chairs an just wait his set out? ...there are some VIP tix that promises "front of stage viewing" and some food and alcohol included, are these VIP worth it for $225 for the day?

Just looking for advise from folks that have attended theis event. We rarely go to these music festivals but I can't pass up seeing this guy live. TIA.
