Even on Texas-OU weekend......you are discussing A&M on an SEC message board. Speaks volumes.

This is actually the Conference Expansion board and the thread is titled "Big 12 - Options and numbers".

Poor poor aggie.

A&M has a larger base, quality football, basketball, baseball, and track. Plus, they have the Houston market. It's not even close.

You are right, they do grab attention in the Houston market. Unfortunately, it's mostly just people making fun of them.

So not quite the Longhorn Network, but still a pretty sweet deal for Florida without much blowback from their SEC brethren.

Exactly. Does anyone really think that ESPN was going to stop with the LHN? We were just the first and they hope for dozens more in coming years.

The LHN has been a red herring in this whole thing. If anything, the unequal revenue split for the Tier 1 & 2 rights was the real sore spot.

The A&M inferiority complex has reached unmatched heights in recent years and they left to get out from under our shadow plain and simple.

The host and callers on this show are a bunch of pussies.

VERY Big 12 if you ask me.

Are they pussies for being pro-traditional rivalries or for successfully convincing the Big 12 to share revenue???

Or are they pussies b/c they don't want to join the SEC just to be thought of as second class conference members from here on out...like Arkie, USC and now TAMU??

Only 60/40?

I don't think Mizzou has the want.

Application denied.

There are quite a few WVU, BYU and other Big XII schools on there probably skewing the data

Half my family is from KC and are Mizzou grads. To a man they want to remain in the Big 12. Same goes for everyone they know.

The new revenue sharing deal in the Big 12 is the best deal for the school...bar none.

But didn't the Booth close for good? I was there for its last night, but don't remember it opening again.

Not sure what you ordered at Quick Grill, but I liked the cheese fries and burgers.

Would you rather go to the old Booth or the new Booth?

You are drunk off your arse on the Strip and hungry...where do you go and what do you get?

Old Booth and Quick Grill.

And I'm also a graduate of an SEC school

Which one?

One ranked higher than Arkansas academically and better at football too.

So Texas fans are using this board to flame A&M now? Who's the little bro in this family again?

They're in the SEC and this is the SEC rant, no? And I'm also a graduate of an SEC school, so maybe I'm flaming them as a fellow SEC'er. Just enjoy the aggie angst in all its glory.

The Longhorns lead the series 75-37-5.

I've seen that a million times. So what? If you're resting on that stat, then why are you too chickenshit to play? Since you're not putting up, maybe you should just shut up.

I wouldn't call it resting on a stat, more like pointing out a plain fact in response to a retarded notion that we are "scared" or "too big of pussies" to play A&M.

If we end the series (which would probably be a temporary thing) it will be because we're pissed they left and nearly blew up the conference in the process (still might happen).

UT admin is also pissed that the bow tie wearing douche of a president at TAMU has tried to spin the whole thing as our fault. In 10 years when every fricking team in the country has their own network playing 3rd tier games I'm going to laugh my arse off.
The Longhorns lead the series 75-37-5.

Don't be retarded.
I'm laughing so hard re-reading this thread and my cargo short wearing breathern predicting a victory that I'm about to cry. Have fun with our bottom rung trash SEC.

I'm not saying you wouldn't be an overall improvement over the Ags in quality of football, I just don't like people making ridiculous claims like TCU in the Big 12 is Texas' worst nightmare. We did spend a few years in the same conference a while back.

Flamboyant gays, emos/hipsters, rhinestone cowboys, HS dropouts and Baylor alumni are Longhorns.

The rest are Ags

So does that mean the sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, dickheads and non-flamboyant gays are all Ags?

Anywhere in Texas where you spot a dude with a high and tight wearing cargo shorts and an american eagle polo.....you know you're in Aggieland.
