This seems silly, but it's a big risk to go straight to the draft. Most of these guys fail, and when you do and you didn't have a degree to fall back on, you might end up a 27 year old high school graduate with a large gap in relevant work history. If I had a son and they offer him 8 million dollars, I think you have to take it. But, otherwise there is still a lot of security in a college degree. Even if you want to work in and around baseball, connection to a high profile program can be a big help. I am not saying most of our HS guys drafted won't go, because trust me they're going. But it is a risk.
Believe it or not, some guys take classes in season or during the offseason. Not all of them, but there are guys out there that capitalize on their situation

A fastball with ride is not a flat fastball

Jeremy Frisch can be a good resource for this type of stuff
It’s not bad to expose him to mobility and strength stuff at this age, but the kid also just needs to continue to develop through different activities. Play tag, do tricks off the monkey bars, do cartwheels and flips (goes along with rolling and crawling). Sounds like coordination needs to get better along with other qualities, but he’s gonna hate you if he’s not having fun. You talk about ladders and no rhythm, hell even dancing or playing an instrument could help with that
quote:Compared to his usual 99-101 fastball and 94-96 splitter
Fastball was at 97, splitter 93 in the 7th. I'm no MLB skip but to me its hard to say he was gassed when he was still hitting these numbers

What an embarrassment Donnarumma
Go see a PT or trainer that’s used to seeing people in pain
Sir Winston alter?

They basically have the same pitchers this year and performing considerably better.

A backfoot breaking ball on 0-2? Incredibly stupid pitch call

quote:I feel like an idiot cause I can’t think off the top of my head, but we haven’t seen much of a changeup from him have we? I feel like that’s what he needs, especially against lefties
Thought maybe he could have showed a 3rd pitch more
quote:Honestly I put that on us
Konate hurt
We have to be able to control games better to kill things off. No reason for our injury prone CB to need to be sprinting back and forth when we’re up by 3 goals

He did. He also fricked up in the same situation when one of their players went down with a head injury, we were attacking and gave the ball to them
It’s a merry go round of incompetence

If that doesn’t make you take a long look in the mirror, then I don’t know what will
