Yeah, defensive minded coaches are the worst .. That nick saban guy hasn't won jack

yeah, honestly, and it pains me to say it, i see us losing at least 3, possibly 4 .. sec west is strong, and we are young, albeit talented .. my gut says we split miss state, at auburn, at florida, ole miss, alabama, at arkansas, and at texas am.

yeah, that 20 seconds with no timeouts would have guaranteed we drive down the field and score and go on to win the game.
quote:

The difference is exponential. 20 seconds is 3 pass attempts, a spike, and a field goal attempt. It would make for a long shot, but it would be a shot. It bumps LSU's chances up from .1% to probably around 20%.

do you seriously believe this? seriously? no way you seriously believe this.

You must've forgotten how much ATM put up on them. They aren't invincible and I like our chances frankly.

1. a&m has manziel, we don't
2. seems Alabama's defense has been improving as the season progresses.

maybe not invincible but they are good .. meanwhile, our offense only scored 24 points on ole miss' second team/walk-on defense.

plus the game is at bama

35-14 bama

mett is a statue in the pocket, zero mobility

o-line struggles with blitz pickups and d-line stunting, of which saban will call all day long ... and mett will not be able to escape the pressure ... result is lots of sacks, inaccurately thrown balls

any decent offense will move the ball and score points on our defense this year. there is no reason to expect a large degree of improvement in the defense, we are who we are this year.

we should keep it close for a half .. then we wear down and the score widens. even if we are up one score, I have no confidence in our defense to hold them from a final drive to score the winning points, be it field goal or touchdown. we've proven we cannot stop anyone in that situation.

Docs aren't getting paid enough to even cover their overhead costs.

how can this be true? how are they in business? serious question.
quote:

Another reason I think we will see an improvement is they won't see that dynamic of an offense until we play them again in Atlanta

We match-up well against Alabama

did you see the GAPING holes that gurley was running through? we aren't talking 4-5 yards a pop, he wasn't even touched until he was 8-10 yards down the field. bama will run all day on us. plus being on the road, we will lose to bama. hope i'm wrong, just don't see how we can win with that game with this defense.

same for A&M, they will score 45 on us, there will be enormous pressure on our offense to score every possession.

any fans of this guy? he is kinda acoustic/folk-ish but writes great lyrics and melodies.

Patterson has NOTHING to do with the offense...

he's the head coach, no?
quote:

Actions speak louder than words. It doesn't matter if Miles always made it a point of saying "education is very important" in team meetings. He knew the things that were going on in the program and he didn't take action. It's kind of like allowing a team vote to determine the fate of a fellow player. You can always deflect the ridicule from the outside by saying "the team decided they wanted him to stay," but everyone knows it was only put to a team vote so Les would have an excuse for keeping a criminal on the team.

1. toss dive
2. option, short side
3. 3 yard slant
quote:

That would be a safe assumption.

so that doesn't seem that great to me ... if they give up that type of yardage to the 2nd team offense in the first scrimmage of the year, what will texas am's and Alabama's first team offenses do to us?
